This diner recently enjoyed, across several visits, Hot & Sour soup = 4+stars; Asparagus & Corn soup = 4+stars. You may be asking: Why not 5stars? Why not 5stars = diner would require a larger soup tureen. But then again, this diner would not be able to explore the other food selections on the Menu. Next time, we have our sights (taste buds) set on the Pan Fried Veggie Dumplings, offered via the Veg. Menu, in the convenient quantity of a half-dozen (6) dumplings. Speaking of Veg menu... Just the other day while enjoying a serving (a pair) of Veg Spring Rolls, grazing through the subtle yet rather distinct savory ingredients that feature fried cabbage, another déjà vu from childhood stirred my memory. As a child in Arizona, we used to collect wayward cabbages from a farmer's nearby field. Raw, fresh cabbage has a wonderful flavor. A few years later and a few years older, now in Mississippi. We enjoyed fried cabbage as a frequent staple found at our table. Forward to a recent epicurean experience with that Veg spring roll, and this diner now finds new meaning with this simple staple food filled with nutritional bounty. 10/8/2018 I bought the Orange shrimp with the fried rice, the flavor is good. there is a flavor in the sauce that is different from others I’ve tried ( can’t put my finger on what it is, it isn’t very pleasant. MSG’S? ) the shrimps were jumbo and cleaned well. The battered around the shrimp was very good. The rice is not as good but I’m sure is the kind of rice. I think if this place used quality ingredients like a better rice, the type of oil, and tweak the sauce I would have given them a 5 stars. Also the website to order food is clean and so easy to order from. The lady who takes order at the front desk is horrible. She always has an attitude. I normally wouldn't care and pick up the food because food itself wasn't horrible. But it obviously is not the best, they only survive because Frederick is a small town and there are not much of choices. Today, I ordered 2 dinner combo meal and and my soups were not in the bag so I called to ask. She was arguing with me that she assumed I didn't want the soup because I didn't tell her which kind of soup I want. I understand that but it is also your job to know your menu and if the customer has forgotten to point out, it was your job to ask also. Such a minor issue but her attitude escalate situation. I am sure she is the owner or the family member, a hired staff wouldn't behave like that. Her response was "come back if you want your soup but I don't want to talk to you." & "you never told me about soup. I figured you didn't want any because some customers don't want...
