Lallo's — Restaurant in Frederick

Finally decided to try this place tonight since it’s the closest pizza place (like two minutes away!!) from where I live. I have to tell you... it was 5 stars even before I tasted my pizza, just for the fact that they have Al Pastor Pizza. Tacos al pastor is my absolute favorite, always order it, food item... and to see there was a pizza created to be like al pastor tacos???? I was out of my mind. I had to order it. I placed an order for pickup, but I was a few minutes late getting there. They didn’t seem to mind. It was fast and easy and the gentleman who gave me the pizza also opened the door for me, on my way out, which was super nice. Great news - the pizza tastes great! It looks delicious too. I did add some hot sauce, as I would with the tacos too and that just took it over the edge. I might have to eat this once a week 😂 not good for my waist but I sure am excited to know Lallo’s has me covered on this craving. The food was terrible. I don’t know if it was because it was late night or what but we will not be back here. We ordered take out and the man who was working in the back argued that we had already paid when we stated several times that we hadn’t. He got loud so we gave up and left with our food. He ran out after us to tell us that we didn’t pay when we told him several times that we hadn’t and tried to hand our card to him each time. Didn’t like being treated like that especially as a first time customer. We got a steak quesadilla and the steak was barely edible with no flavor and the meat was extremely greasy (bad quality steak) and the fries were not good. My husband got a steak and cheese which he said was okay but the nachos were almost bare. I was generous with 2 stars only because I appreciate that they’re open late, but I should’ve just...

The picture must be from when it first opened...looked nothing like that. This review is more on the place. Called 3x and no one answered to pre-order. Had to show up and order then wait another 30min for my food (which was justified to me by my server) The place inside was hot and humid just like outside, they should have fans rolling to cool everyone if the AC is out. One server didn't seem interested in helping me, she went and got another women(could've been a manager?) to take my order. Food was horrible and I know flip flops aren't allowed in that kind...
