McClintock's Back Bar — Restaurant in Frederick

This bar serves cocktails made with the fine products from the adjacent distillery. I'm a bourbon drinker, and so far this is the only bar I can find in Frederick that serves it over a big ice block not little cubes. The bourbon is excellent. I've had 2 cocktails, enjoyed both. When the distillery is open you can go next door to buy bottles and enjoy tastings. Note that the bar does not serve any food or snacks but close by are like 40+ restaurants. I really hate leaving a bad review, but last night was not good. Both of us are huge fans of McClintock’s Gin and Vodka. Have made our own martinis with your products. We stopped by to have an after dinner cocktail. We got a regular martini and a dirty martini. They tasted so bad that we paid, left a generous tip and left our 95% full glasses on the bar. You would think the bartender might ask us why we didn’t drink it, but she acted like it was perfectly normal to pay without drinking the product! It was just sooo awful. Just a...

Really good local cocktails that often have a solid shrub in use to balance sweet and acid that complements their distillery products. The gin and whiskeys are FAR superior to those from another joint X around the corner....
