Best bread bakery in Frederick! I’m so glad we found they have a physical location now, downtown. We used to only get their bread at the common market. Now you get it super fresh straight from the source! My husband said service is top tier. The people are extremely nice. Even made sure we had our focaccia straight from the oven as soon as it was ready. Going above and beyond for customers. The breads are just wonderful! I’m pretty sure they use mostly organic flours for everything which just makes big difference in quality. The muffins and scone (I think it was scone? It had dark chocolate and cherries in it) were soooo tasty. Not too sweet so it’s perfect. The bagels are the best bagel I’ve ever had. And the focaccia. It is the yummiest thing ever! I think they use sour dough in it, it has that tangy taste to it. Really unique. You can slice and put on a pan to heat up, top with cream cheese and tomato and it’s a treat. Their hours are also a plus, they open early at 6am. Will definitely be trying all their other items. Highly recommend.

Not our first visit, but our first time getting bagel breakfast sandwiches. Let me tell you, they did not disappoint. The bagels are just the right amount of crusty and chewy, and oh so fresh. We got the veggie sandwich on an everything bagel. They've put some thought into these flavors, the combination of pickled and fresh veggies, with pesto and cream cheese, is spot on. The smoked salmon on a triple sesame bagel with cream cheese and capers was absolutely decadent. They do not skimp on the salmon either. Sadly the coffee tasted old, and the two sandwiches took about 10 minutes to prepare, but absolutely worth the wait. The staff is so nice and helpful. And of course you HAVE to try the sourdough bread.

Went here on a Sunday morning to grab some breakfast, muffins, and their amazing bread. I decided to have a pumpernickel bagel and my wife had an everything bagel. Both were toasted and really yummy. The space is very open and has a relaxed vibe. It’s nice to watch them in the kitchen and see them making the baked good fresh. My wife really liked the hot coffee. We ended up leaving with: a loaf of Rosemary polenta bread, three plain bagels, a sesame seed bagel, 2 grueire cheese and bacon scones, a dark chocolate, cherry and pecan scone and red miso cream cheese. Happy to say we will eat well the next couple of days!

I was first put on to TB from having their sourdough at the Farmer's Market and Gravel and Grind, so I was thrilled when their brick and mortar came to downtown. Was lucky enough to walk in today as hot bagels were coming out of the oven. My first time having a bagel that fresh, and let me tell you, it was a revelation. Highly recommend the triple sesame (all the bagels are outstanding) with a rip-and-dip into their whipped cream cheese. As a side note, I was privy to a conversation that Andrew was having with another customer, and could tell from their exchange that he cares deeply and is passionate about his food, where ingredients come from, and future plans for the bakery. Twin Bears has definitely gained a...
