Panaderia Emanuel Bakery & Grocery — Restaurant in Fredericksburg

Finally!! A good concha bread nearby. I happen to stumble by this recently opened bakery. I was holding my breath before trying the concha because, most of the time they are just not there. I was not disappointed! Even though I got there at night the concha was still soft and not dry as some other ones tend to be. Now if I ever crave some Concha bread I don't have to drive all the way to Alexandria for it. I also noticed a lot of the breads are stuffed with sweet cheese. That's kind of new to me but I love cheese too so this is a plus. I tried the cachos with cheese and they were great. I hope they stay around and keep up the good...

Just stopped by to see the pastry options and I will definitely be going back. Even though they’re still establishing themselves, the pastries they offer are delicious and flavorful. The selection may be smaller for now, but you can tell there’s a lot of care behind what they do, and I have no doubt they’ll continue to expand their menu with even more amazing baked goods and more products to shop. If you’re looking for a local panaderia to support, this is definitely one to watch. I can’t wait to see how they grow and try more of their offerings in the future. Highly recommend...

While they are still establishing themselves their baked goods are extensive and delicious. The concha is wonderful. I tried something new today that the owner said was good with coffee, tea or hot chocolate. I don't know the name of it but it's a soft cake in the middle with a flaky pastry covered in sugar wrapped...
