OMG! After driving three hours today, I made a pit stop to one of my favorite places for a caffeine fix, STARBUCKS! I wasn't familiar with the area and had no idea I would find one of the friendliest Starbucks I had ever visited!! We were greeted by multiple staff and the young man behind the register immediately made it a point to get to know us beyond just taking our orders. He was personable and a great sense of humor! We teasingly gave him a bit of a hard time over some seasonal goodies that were on sale. We grabbed a table and sat a few minutes enjoying our coffee and conversation, occasionally giving a shout out to that young man as we continued to tease him, which he took in stride and he would take the opportunity to ask us additional questions about ourselves, our trip, family, Christmas plans etc. What caught me off guard was the completely unprompted act of kindness that the young man surprised me with before we left!! Andy, THANK YOU for that gift of kindness that you showed! You'll probably never realize how much it meant to me. "It's the little things in life" that matters most!!! I'll never forget you and you are unofficially one of my adopted children. Thank you for putting a smile on this old grandma's heart today!...
Read moreI used to love this Starbucks. I don't know what happened after the remodeling, but is THE only Starbucks I avoid.
I used mobile ordering 3 times, only to get there and wait over 5 minutes. The last time, I submitted a mobile order for two drinks when I was in a parking lot on Salem Church Road. The two drinks still were not ready when I got there after sitting in Saturday Rt 3 traffic going to the mall.
I always order venti drinks with no foam. Since the remodeling, I got Grande drinks in a venti cup. You could feel the cup was not even close to full. I had to ask for more steamed milk to fill them up, which added an additional 5 minutes to my wait.
I now go to Cowan Crossing or Massaponax. I have noticed that Massaponax is super busy lately, maybe I am not the only one that switched. I do know the folks I was working with near there also constantly complained about the same things that I experienced.
I hope they fix it, this was my favorite Starbucks to go sit and...
Read more06/22/16 I just had to change my review from 5 to 1 stars after my experience this morning. It is 0410 and it took 20 minutes to make an Iced coffee, Gouda sandwich and a mango iced tea. The barista's were all standing around gossiping and I had to wait 10 minutes just for them to come to the window to charge me. Then two of the girls stood and argued at who would make the mango iced tea, right in front of me. Seriously. It's 4 in the morning and the only people in line with us were two guys on bikes. There was no reason for this service, for 2 drinks and a sandwich to take 30 minutes or for the employees to be to rude and lazy. If Starbucks thinks that their product is enough to keep costumers, it is not. It will loss customers if they don't train their employees to the same standard and quality they expect from their products. Oh, and the mango iced tea tasted disgusting, you could tell it was made by someone who doesn't care about the quality...
