We kept saying we were going to try this place for months and months after it opened. Finally stopped in last Saturday and man do I regret NOT going sooner. This place is something you would find in Disney world. The exterior is deceiving but in a positive clean simple branding way. Once you walk in it’s like stepping into another world. A horse carousel for kids to ride, it looked like a cotton candy machine dessert topping section, insane original pancake options and they have a brunch and appetizer Ferris wheel with baskets of food that spin on the mini Ferris wheel. We have whiplash from looking at all the food that passed us by. We had the breakfast tacos(3 bacon egg, & cheese topped w/ sour cream. The pancakes were the taco shells.), braised short rib eggs Benedict pancakes, pigs in a blanket (3 breakfast sausage wrapped in pancakes), and fresh squeezed juices. The strawberry lemonade was the greatest I have ever had. We ate half, took the rest home, went into a food coma, took a nap, then ate the rest for dinner lol You pay for quality and quantity. Rebecca was our server and she was more than phenomenal. She presented a positive energy, infectious smile, and very attentive all while helping other tables keeping busy. I’m a magician and once I saw the “Welcome to the show” lighted sign over the kitchen entrance I knew I had to perform some magic lol Rebecca was so good I told my girlfriend I have to show her some magic as a thank you. Brownstone Pancake factory family, you truly created something magical. We will be back and we have been telling our friends and family. We’re all foodies and cooks. I also used to cook in restaurants and a former bartender/mixologist and man do I wish I could’ve worked here when I was in the industry. Can’t wait to try everything on the menu lol Bravo Brownstone...
Read moreLet me start out with a good things first, the atmosphere is truly beautiful.. The milkshakes looked absolutely amazing and yummy, we didn't get to try it because we were kind of stuffed. The food itself, was okay other people at my table really enjoyed their food. I had plain pancakes which I just wanted syrup with however it was not the best pancakes by far it was really nothing special, which was disappointing for a place that is specializing in pancakes. I believe the reason why they have all those yummy things on top is the downplay the pancakes have no taste.
I would definitely go back to try something different maybe lunch is more their Forte. My son had the chocolate chip pancakes and he loves pancakes however also said this was not his favorite.
The waiters were very very sweet, however we asked for refills on coffee several times before they finally came to refill towards the end of the meal. It's a very busy place and it seemed like they may be a little overwhelmed with the amount of tables they had. Which is totally normal for a place that busy. Like I said they were very sweet so that made up for it.
A lot of people love this place so I will definitely try to give it another go and bring back my other son next time I do we will definitely be trying the milkshakes!
Last thing that was super super cool they have a carousel in the middle of the restaurant as soon as you walk in for the younger kids which was really cool because we got to see the kids on it and so happy so that was pretty awesome.. definitely recommend this place if you have...
Read moreThis was our first time at The Brownstone. We never knew they were open to 10pm on Fridays and Saturdays. They have such an extensive menu; it just ain't pancakes. I was full just from reading the menu. Our server was Leo. He was attentive, personable, and knowledgeable; we will definitely ask for him on our next visit. Our food was all generous portions. We had plenty of leftovers to take home. We ordered the Brownstone supreme sampler for an appetizer. It has a little bit of each of your favorite appetizers items from mozzarella sticks to potato skins to chicken fingers, wings and onion rings with 5 different dipping sauces. We were only 4 people but it was enough for 6 people. The french onion soup was definitely one of the best I have had at any restaurant. The french fries were probably the best we have had in years. Hand cut delicious. I had tried the Jersey dancin' (disco) fries. It was piled high with the hand cut fries, melted mozzarella and brown gravy poured all over the top. I could only eat a few, had to basically take home the whole plate. My fellow eaters had the Brownstone supreme burger, cheese omelet and the reuben favorite sandwich. All meals received 2 thumbs up and would definitely recommend. While the people around us were ordering those amazing shakes, we had no room left for the sweet treats. Hopefully the next time we get to slurp one down. The Brownstone is definitely a must add to your favorite places to eat out. We are looking forward to...
