This place doesnāt even deserve the 1 star Iām forced to give to write this review. The lack of customer service makes it hard to keep coming back but unfortunately this is the only 24 hour gym in the area. I have been coming here for 5 years and within those 5 years, I have yet to be greeted at the door. A simple āHi, how are you?ā Has never came out of anyoneās mouth that works here. Iād understand if the front staff was busy, but for the past 5 years?? Thereās usually 2 or more people at the front and they literally make eye contact with me as I walk in, make sure I scan my phone, then go back to looking down at their phones looking miserable to be getting paid to do the bare minimum. I am 100% certain greeting guests at the door was in the job description when they applied. This type of attitude falls on the management here even though Iām sure the management is no better. I have been to many Planet Fitness locations and this one is by far the worst one. The equipment is usually out of order, itās always filthy, and the staff just looks like dead zombies glued to their phones. I hope the right eyes see this and realize they need to quickly turn things around. The staff is incredibly helpful and they keep the gym extremely clean at all times. When it comes to the equipment that I use daily, they have multiples of each, so I rarely ever have to wait to get on one. If I do wait, itās never more than a couple minutes. I would also like to point out an experience I had with this gym shortly after the country opened back up after Covid. I had a membership before the pandemic and they put a pause on monthly and yearly fees during that time. Once we were allowed back in, they started charging my card again. I hadnāt realized they were for awhile, and I wasnāt attending the gym during that time. Once I noticed the charges, I called the gym and was able to get on the phone with the manager at that time (I wish I could remember her name). She was understanding of the situation and very helpful. She was able to refund my payments for those months and cancel my membership at that time. She is very knowledgeable about fitness, diet and exercise. She has classes 5 days a week. During her classes she uses most of the equipment there to train you so you also get the understanding how to use all the equipment. The next best thing is, most of the employees are helpful and attentive. Annette always tries to help with what ever she is able to. However, in the back corner by the weight racks and by the rowers, and climbing machines it so hot. It is always hot and muggy over there. Ceiling fans are slow and do not help. What they need is a commercial oscillating fans mounted to the wall that are constantly oscillating. At one time the manager put a simple home fan there but another rep removed it. They either need another vent for air conditioning there or a commercial fan that no one touches and it constantly oscillates. I emailed the owner about this, but nothing has been done.
