Taco Bell — Restaurant in Freeport

Staff steals from customers, and make multiple habits of it. You can order a specific meal and they will charge you the upcharge but they regularly make habit of not modifying your order. A recent incident occurred where I was charged extra to change the meat of a burrito( in a box meal) to a alternate meat. They left as is and charged me the upcharge for it. This was 5th time they did this particular item. They did it as well when using door dash services. When I contacted them to speak to them about it, the person who answered the phone called me a psycho over the 70 cent upcharge. She missed the fact that a customer was trying to explain it was 5th time this had happened and that its not good business. She hung up on my twice. the voice of this person was young, (most likely Caucasian female) Date: of the occurrence was 05/20/2022 between 1109a-1145a. I went through the drive-thru a week ago and redeemed my free chulpa box. As I tried to go through the drive-thru my boyfriend tried to redeem the same offer. The guy at the window said he had to ask his manager about it, which is understandable. As the manager stood across the window saying that he can’t redeem it in the drive thru, an older lady by the cash register began to raise her voice and say it wasn’t redeemable. As she began to get snappy, that’s when things went bad. If they would’ve just said it wasn’t redeemable through the drive-thru there wouldn’t have been a problem. They shouldn’t let me redeem it through the drive-thru a week ago but not now. It wasn’t because it was expired but you had to order through the app. Should’ve never advertised being able to get the deal through the drive-thru. This is literally the worst Taco Bell I’ve been to, I’ve lived in the area for 2yrs now and unfortunately it’s the closest Taco Bell to my house. I have given this place many chances and I can say I’m officially done and will be driving the extra 20mins to get good quality food, correct order and decent employees. This Taco Bell has the rudest management I’ve ever experienced at any fast food restaurant in my life, very argumentative and will basically accuse you of lying if tell them something was wrong or missing. My favorite Taco Bell sauce is creamy jalapeño sauce, I get it in everything or get extra if it already has it, I seriously kid you not 90% of the time there’s almost none or the wrong sauce, I’m being ripped off because someone doesn’t care and it’s not cheap for sauces at Taco Bell.
