Los Cuates Taco Truck — Restaurant in Fremont

A delicious taco truck hits the spot and transports me back to Monterrey, Mexico!

I always test out a taco shop or truck by trying a few of the different taco options before committing to anything else. I got the carnitas and the al pastor to test the truck. They passed with flying colors! The pastor was wet with the marinade and incredibly flavorful and the carnitas were soft, shredded, and exactly as carnitas should be. The two tacos were enough, but I wanted more so I immediately ordered the regular burrito with pastor to go.

The burrito did not disappoint. It was still warm when I had my first few bites about an hour later. The sauce from the pastor had soaked into the rice and beans to make an explosion of flavor and ideal texture.

I will definitely be returning here anytime I am in Fremont. Ideally located walking distance from a number of car maintenance shops so you can visit while getting work done...

We've been going to Ofelia's for over 10 years! We've always loved the salsa & the carne asada burritos for the fair price and good flavor. However, our last visit was not as expected. The service was friendly but Idk what is going on with the cooking! Our burritos we saturated with oil, carne asade translates to grilled beef, theres no need for added oil. The oil oozed out of our burritos, almost like it was purposefully added to it. I think there was a quarter cup of oil inside our burrito. I had to absorb it out with a napking to take a bite, I couldnt even finish it. At $12 a burrito I dont think we'll be going back...

Undisputedly the best burritos in town. I've had many burritos from other places and none compares to the ones at this Taco truck. All the ingredients match perfectly with eachother. I usually get two of the monster burritos to feed myself and my four children and we always have leftovers for a snack for later. The owner Manuel is also very kind and caring to every customer. The cooks are also really nice and they do amazing work with the food. If I could give one million stars I would. This is definitely a place you want to try if you...
