Update August 2025: temporarily removing one star as they have very rigid ordering. Could not add a second patty to my surf and turf combo? I’m willing to pay extra, they said they can’t because the system won’t allow it. That’s pretty silly that they can’t physically cook and add a second patty just because their “system” won’t allow it? I’ll check back in a few weeks and update my review of this is fixed. Wow! This place is GREAT! It’s definitely gourmet. Think juiciness of The Melt, casualness of In-N-Out, but gourmet quality of a proper restaurant (delicate buttery brioche buns, better quality meat), with your college town burger shack vibe. I hope they’re here to stay because this is going to be my new spot. Only wish they were open later (i.e. 11pm)!

My buddy and I heard this spot was THEE spot. So we decided to check it out. QR-code to order, make an account log in, order etc. Took about 15ish mins or so. Once we got our food, the garlic fries were a hit. Lil oily, perfect crunch and garlic ratio. The Double Wagyu Cheese Burger was ... ok. I got no tomato but the burger was slanted in half so I actually had to realign it (NBD) but that first bite was just very soggy. Almost like it was very oily from the meat, cheese and sauce. My buddy also had a hamburger and it was also a bit soggy but his shrimp were a hit! I will definitely be back to try the Chicken Sandwich.

Mission Tasty Hut is independently owned and makes their food to order - fresh. So, it's not fast food. The Wagyu burgers and various fried chicken and seafood options are tasty just like their name says. They are located in the former Mission Burger spot. If you've lived in Fremont long enough, you will know the spot. So it's great that a burger place is back. On warm evenings, you can relax and enjoy eating at the picnic tables under the string lights.

Great experience at Mission Tasty Hut. Tried their kobe burgers and chicken sandwiches. Burgers are solid and you can upgrade fries to garlic or sweet potatoe versions. I enjoy their garlic fries but feel they are a little light on the garlic but thats just my take as I'm used to them being loaded with flavor. Spicy chicken sandwich is good except seems to be just their standard chicken sandwich with hot honey on it. Wish this was disclosed as I am not a fan of hot honey and usually prefer my spicy chicken to have the spice within the sandwich or breading, but still a good sized piece of chicken. They also have some seafood options available but have not tried them personally. Parking and location can be interesting due to this being a "hut" establishment but they do have an outside seating area. Orders also can take 15-20+ minutes to be made so keep...

This is truly a hidden gem near the Mission Peak area! We stumbled across this restaurant after a long hike up Mission Peak. The drive to the restaurant was equally BEAUTIFUL and worth it. I could not express how shocked I was at how juicy and fresh the burgers were. Not only that but also the sweet potato fries were a delicacy. The fact that they have a Ume tea right behind the restaurant makes it a PERFECT combination. There is AMPLE seating of up to 30 patrons I believe which makes this place the perfect hang out or chill out spot for friends and families alike. This is a very dog friendly place with tons of parking. All in all, I'm very happy...
