Ohlone Deli — Restaurant in Fremont

If my memory stands correct, the first time I went to the Ohlone Deli was a year ago, when I went to the annual theater competition up at the college right across the street. The food. Is. Delicious. The service is quite polite and friendly, though they don't quite hold a conversation or anything. It might take a while to get out to you, depending on how busy it is, but it's so worth the wait. They serve an amazing variety of foods; sandwiches, milk shakes and other desserts, fries sprinkled with pepper and salt, and gyros so good you'll die and go to food heaven. By all means, check this place out. It might not seem like much from the outside, and the inside isn't that impressive (though it's got a quirkiness that is endearing), get some of their amazing food and sit outside on a sunny afternoon, and your life will...

I don’t recommend this place to anyone. My first red flag was the messy menu and empty seats. It’s a cute deli nice and cozy but the burger and milkshake I was charged for was 15 dollars. Didn’t expect that high price for some burger that gave me food poisoning. I asked kindly the worker if it was possible to give me a refund and told me people come daily and enjoy his burgers. Then we came to a agreement to hand me some of my money back. Thankfully got 5 dollars back. The place smelled awful and flies around. I really hope the business man who owns the shop will upgrade and make it more safe and healthier to eat there. Please organize your shop a little more and don’t try to tell the customer is wrong with their order. Main rule in good business is that the customers are always right....

I went with a friend. Our first red flag was all the dust, all the clutter, and the dirty handwritten menus. There was even a floor fan blowing the dust everywhere. My friend had to wait outside while I ordered because the dust was bothering his allergies. I ordered, thinking the drinks would come first before he made our sandwiches. I wish I didn't stand there.
