So it really wasn't that bad as there were multiple families there dining in that night and we got sat in a nice table outside experiencing our first cast of segregation as a married couple as the cold Fremont wind blew and covered us like a blanket very nice indeed. We started out with the Saffron lamb which had came in a rich sauce that would later induce uncontrollable dung as it had a very nicely seasoned mix of peppers and very thin slices of ginger which mixed with the pungent smell of a true Indian household and a chunk of a very dressed up sauces with dark bold colors that gave my fluctuation the appearance it had been wearing a tye dyed shirt. Next was the chicken vindaloo and we took our first bite the favors danced around our mouths in the same like manor that tiny chunks of chicken, peppers, seasoning and spinach danced the toilet tango on their way down as we could taste the fine delicacies of India in our tastebuds hours later. Although the vindaloo was above par the curry mixed with the choice of local spices made each squirt of Hershey raced downpour legs, to our ankles and into our socks hours later after our visit to this well put together and lovely establishment. There was a band playing outside in the Pacific Cummons that night that almost mimicked the trouser marching band that played the tuba heavy on the car ride home and as me and my wife looked eachother in the eye we were both congruent that the restaurant was still present in our minds and up our nose. Smelled just like it.the leftovers rested snug in the backseat of our stretched limo but the exact smell of the fine establishment was nestled right there between us for the entire ride home. For drinks we had water and a really strong mixed drink which muced with the proceeding excretions added a texture that helped the food get to its destination and it was more thin not chunky as it lately has been and were really glad that that key balance was there. We also ordered some bread which had acted more of a beaver's damn as a large gust of wind breakage occured no question from the spices ingested previously that made our household bedsheets ripple like the Atlantic ocean when a large sea vessel cut sideways through the tide.
All around it was great. As we left in a rush to get the nearest location with an abode included we were thankful that we had experienced a true taste of...

Every dining experience at Rangoli Flavors of India in Fremont, California, feels like a delightful culinary journey to the heart of India, and my most recent visit was no exception.
As always, we started our meal with the Garlic Naan, a staple in Indian cuisine. At Rangoli, it is executed to perfection: fluffy, warm, and generously infused with fresh garlic and herbs. It's the ideal companion to the flavorful dishes that follow, a perfect bread for scooping up generous helpings of their sumptuous curries.
A standout of the meal was the Paneer Akbari. The paneer was tender and fresh, simmered in a rich, creamy gravy that was beautifully seasoned. The subtle blend of spices created a tantalizing complexity of flavor without overwhelming the palate, making every bite an absolute delight.
To balance the richness of the paneer, we ordered the Raita. This yogurt-based side dish was the perfect cooling element. It was refreshing, with a lovely hint of cucumber and a pleasant tang from the yogurt. It provided a well-needed counterpoint to the other dishes, proving once again that Indian cuisine is all about balance and harmony of flavors.
The Lemon Rice, a South Indian speciality, was a wonderful surprise. Bright, tangy, and lightly spiced, it was a delightful addition to the meal. The fluffy grains of rice were perfectly cooked, each one distinct, and were beautifully interspersed with mustard seeds and curry leaves. It was a great accompaniment that enhanced the overall flavors of our meal.
Service at Rangoli Flavors of India is always welcoming and attentive. The staff members are knowledgeable, ready to provide recommendations or explain the nuances of the dishes. Each visit is not just about eating, but also about understanding and appreciating the rich culinary heritage of India.
Whether you're a lover of Indian cuisine or a curious newcomer, I highly recommend Rangoli Flavors of India. The exceptional food, warm hospitality, and comfortable ambiance all come together to provide an unforgettable dining experience. This is a gem of Fremont that everyone...
Read moreWe visited this place after seeing the high rating of the place. However, the experience was a little disappointing. For me, a dining experience in a restaurant consists of three aspects - the food, the dining environment and the behavior of the management to the customers. This place didn't score high enough in any of these categories. There are enough parking spaces nearby on a Saturday noon when we as a party of two visited for the lunch buffet. The place gets quite full and crowded for the weekend buffets and the restaurant not being particularly huge, there are always people waiting outside to get a table. The restaurant is not very spacious and due to the high inrush the management has tried to fit tables in the crampiest of places. We were a party of two and got a table in a hallway where there were people going past the table to their way to the buffet spread and the restrooms all the time. In addition, the staff organizes the cutlery in a space around the table, so there is no concept of privacy. Despite the staff being so nearby we had to repeatedly ask to get our glasses refilled with water.
To describe the food, the first thing to notice is that there are many vegetarian items which is a good thing for vegetarians. We tried some of the veg items and they were quite good. However, I was deeply disappointed with the goat meat among the non-vegetarian spread. The meat was not soft and instead was a little bit on the chewy side. I have had so much better goat meat in the other Indian buffet restaurants in the Bay area. Overall the food is good but isn't quite great in my opinion.
Overall, the experience is not exhilarating to make me come back a...
