I love this restaurant food concept - fusion maybe if I have to describe it? The rice bun is a good concept as well. I ordered kamikaze fries and rice bowl ribs without any additions or taking out anything for the first time so I have a gauge on how I wanted to customize my next order. The rib flavor is good - it's on a sweet side (you might not be a fan or prefer your ribs with different flavor or more umami taste but I don't mind and I like their ribs how it is). The brown rice with furikake is great option for rice. The meat size, how it's all cut - is proportion for bite sizes which is nice. Basically the bowl concept has meat, rice, greens, and kimchi - I think for me it's a good healthy balance: I have my carbs, meat, green, and side. The fries has good flavor (a bit spicy for me - but that's me. Some prefer it spicy). The meat to fries ratio is enough to enjoy the flavor. In regards to proportion and price - everyone has different standard on these so I'll let you decide on how you define these after you tried yours. Highly recommend to give Koja a try. Kudos Koja for using environmental friendly...

Everytime I go to Koja Kitchen, it's bc I'm craving some Kamikaze fries, or the pictures of it pull me in. I decided to fulfill the craving and also try the umami fries, ahi tuna bowl, and signature spam musubi.

Kamikaze fries: 5/5, will always recommend. Umami fries: 5/5, had pork instead of beef. Ahi tuna bowl: 4/5, sauce had a lil more wasabi taste than preferred. Signature spam musubi: 3/5. Basic, your usual musubi w extra tamago and avocado but lacking special/signature flavor. Also mine didn't have any bacon in it as described.

Will always return for a waffle fry craving! The other items are okay. Plenty of parking, walk in and order at the cashier, hold onto your vibrator number until it goes off, self serve, fast food.

I did try to squirt some sriracha into a small paper cup but then the whole lid blew off and it was just me and a cup's worth of Sriracha on the counter for me to clean up. Kitchen staff didn't understand what my issue was (language?); cashier went somewhere. Good thing I didn't hold the bottle directly...

Went to Koja Kitchen for the first time. It was not crowded at all. Should have taken that as a sign of upcoming utter disappointment. Went to order, told the lady that we are here for the first time, to help us with the order. Which she didn't even bother to do. So we place the oder and spent $50. When our food came it was cold, the chicken was cold. I told her that my food was cold. She came up with all the useless and senseless excuses. One was that I must have added the sauce that is why the chicken got cold. I said I didn't even touch the sauce yet. So I stopped there and took only 4 bites. And same my we left our entire food in the tray and throw it. I was so excited to go after reading the reviews. Great disappointment!! Never ever again!! I wish I could get my money back or rewind the time and go to a better place that never disappoints like Habit Burger or...

Overall, Koja Kitchen delivers punchy and extremely flavorful dishes that are a treat for the taste buds. We tried the Original Koja, Teriyaki Zen Koja, Ahi Tuna Bowl, and Beef Bowl. The Beef Bowl was a standout—packed with flavor and perfectly proportioned. I would absolutely order that again! The Ahi Tuna Bowl was good, but the ratio of tuna to salad could have been better; it felt more like I was eating a salad, unlike the well-balanced Beef Bowl. The rice burgers were fairly good, though not out-of-this-world delicious. Koja Kitchen’s fusion concept is definitely fun and different, making it worth a visit if you're looking for something unique and tasty.

I ordered the short rib bowl, which is the most popular in the bowl section per the staff. Everything on the menu sounded delicious. Of course, I had to narrow it down to one dish. The meat was tender and had lots of flavor. It went well with the Kimchi. There's no table service so the flow is you order @ the counter, then they'll give you a pager. To pick up your order, it'll be ready on the side, near the beverage machine. They serve beer too! There's many large screen TV's so every seat is great one. Also, there's patio seating too! Great find, we'll be back!

Criminally underrated place in Fremont. No matter how busy it is outside it’s never quite as busy in here. I used to go to the San Mateo location a lot so I know how good the food is. Korean Mexican American fusion is unbelievably satisfying on so many levels This time I came in and got their fried chicken sandwich which was brined in sake Hands on one of the best chicken sandwiches I’ve had in my life. Now this is not an exaggeration or some sort of superlative. It really is that good. If only the good people of Fremont would venture to expand their taste buds
