Taco Bell — Restaurant in Fremont

As I walk in with my fiance, the first thing I noticed was the lack of anyone at the front counter. Odd, but there are the touch screen order displays now that you can use to place your order, so we went ahead and did so. Next I noticed a sign above the fountain drink dispenser stating that they were out of nearly half of their drinks. After that we walked past many dirty tables to find one clean one at last, to wait for our order. After a few minutes we hear our name be called, so I proceed to go retrieve our order. I grab a tray off the counter, with yet again no one around to be seen. I take our food back to the table when i notice they forgot to give us our cup for a drink. My fiance see's a young man coming out of the kitchen and asks him if we could have our cup. The guy then proceeds to mumble "I'm not clocked in, I can't." I couldn't believe my ears. He again repeated it, and then just walked away. Look, I get it. You shouldn't have to work, when your not clocked in, but his response and approach was way off base. Why not "Let me tell someone for you." Or "Let me clock in real quick, and I'll grab one for you." But no, a rude mumble and away he scurried. Shocked, I walked over to the counter and waited a minute to finally see someone else, and finally asked for a cup. The man, asks me my name, to then check his order history to ensure that I did indeed, order a drink. This place has a plethora of problems, from cleanliness to rude, and nonexistent employees. I wouldn't recommend going here, unless every other single restaurant in town is closed for some bazaar reason.

Oh, and literally every single one of my hardshell tacos...

Service was kinda okay it didn't take long for them to attend to us being they only had 4 working that day. They really weren't busy.

The dining room wasn't cleaned and stocked ( tables not wiped down, floor not sweeped, drink station not cleaned, not to mention the spout was dirty, restroom dirty and trash full. )

I spent over $40.00 on takeout 12 pack tacos ( 6 soft & 6 crunchy) 2 bean burritos - onions + sourcream 1 new combo meal Grill steak combo - rice - chips Taco make it supreme

Got home and come to find out that

12 taco was under portion. Some had less beef, some didn't have cheese, some less lettuce some less cheese, not to mention they had cheese and lettuce inside the box

Grill steak had everything on it when I to take out the rice and chips Taco wasn't a supreme

2 beans had onions when I asked minus onions and add sourcream, but it didn't have it

Called the stores, spoke with the manager, and told him about my order, the Grill steak combo, and the 2 bean burritos he said to bring in the order, and they will remake it so I did but he gave me a remark that I didnt tell him about the 12 tacos I told him I didn't find out until I was leaving and my son said that he didn't have cheese so I check all and it was all under portion. It was like he almost hesitated to take it and remake it.

So to not have to do it again, make sure you serve customers good they pay your bills and if you don't like your job then...

We were driving about trying to decide what to eat for lunch and we thought... lets try taco bell again...We pulled up to the menu, two cars in front of us and two behind us. We were immediately rushed. Instead of saying take ur time and let me know if I can help... they said can I help u find anything... we requested they give us a second. Then we ordered and found out they were out of hard shell tacos. We ordered all soft shells, got up to the window wanting to add two drinks to the order and the gal rudely interrupted us saying that they were two busy and we had to drive back through for that. We canceled our whole order and went to taco John's. We hadn't been to toco bell in a while.. thought we would give it a try and was quickly reminded as too why we will not be going back there for while again.. I understand it was lunch time, busy, and maybe even short staffed. Been there more than once but at the end of the day you get paid for the customer service you provide and the food you produce... I normally dont write bad reviews but being rushed from the start... then being told your too busy and I have to go back through or come inside for two drinks? Come...
