Wendy's — Restaurant in Fremont

Dear Wendy’s Management,

I’m writing to express my disappointment regarding a recent experience at your location during the morning shift. As a paying customer, I was refused access to the restroom by an employee who claimed it was “being used and would be a while.” While that may be understandable under certain circumstances, the manner in which it was communicated came off as dismissive and unprofessional.

Additionally, the same employee appeared unwilling to engage during the ordering process, relying solely on gestures and nods until I inquired about the restroom—at which point he finally spoke. On a separate occasion, I encountered the same individual at the drive-thru, where the service was again poor. The food quality was extremely disappointing, and the coffee tasted as if it had been intentionally tampered with.

Based on these experiences, it’s clear this employee lacks the professionalism and maturity expected in a customer-facing role. I will not be returning to this location, and I hope appropriate steps are taken to ensure a higher standard of service...

Wendy's is the only chain you can get a BAKED POTATO (and they are awesome) which I think is enough said. I also would like to highlight their AMAZING salads: super fresh, loaded with goodies, tasty dressings. DO NOT eat the salads at any other fast food place, you will regret it! Wendy's probably has the best chicken nuggets too - my kids gobble them up and ask for more. Just wish they had onion rings! But they have so much that other places DON'T that that's probably minor in the grand scheme.

The Fremont Automall Wendy's is our go-to when we are in a hurry for a quick bite in the area. Service is friendly and even though they sometimes make mistakes in the order, they are very quick to rectify whatever the situation is which I appreciate. The place itself looks great. Very clean and well taken care of. The bathrooms however are gross. Was in on a weekend and though not busy, a crowd in line. They had the "manager" taking orders. Ends up she barely spoke English. Not a problem for the Spanish speakers in line, but made it hard to order for the rest of us. My real issue with this is the fact that she had a attitude towards those of us who had to order in English. My order got messed up and things were forgotten. More attitude when I tried to fix things. In the end I had a Luke warm meal and not a good experience. If you like Wendy's, there are a few others in the area. All off which are much better than this one. I would avoid this one...
