Fazoli's — Restaurant in Frenchtown Charter Township

I'd like to say this earns a 2.5 but I'll round up. As of 07-2018 I've had a few issues with Fazolis. Initially the staff was pretty bad, you could tell the staff didn't want to be there. They got my order wrong twice in a row. I finally just took what they brought out. And there was no breadsticks at all, not the unlimited breadstick offer they had posted. I've been back since and they have gotten better. I would not have ever gone back but my wife wanted too

As of 07-2018... Ultimately I feel like I'm eating at a hospital cafeteria with obnoxious truckers yelling in to their Bluetooth headphones about how many "loads" they can handle while you and whom ever just want a quiet meal and not hear a fat man talk about his cock lust. The food was okay but only okay. The breadsticks are offered but the person only comes out every 10-15 to serve them and you only get one or two each time (depending how many people are at the table). So the unlimited is actually only 2-4 breadsticks. I could go one but no bother. I don't like negative reviews because there are staff that aren't actually able to offer top serve due to management... But it is what it is. I won't go back again. If my wife wants their food she can go back on her own.

The Country Skillet that Fazolis replaced was actually a far better restaurant. It was an older place and need a remodel and didn't serve the most gormet foods but the staff was very nice and the menu had good variety. And it offered a more relaxed atmosphere. We dined at Fazoli’s earlier today for lunch. It was my first time going, my boyfriend has been before so he thought he’d take me there. When we went to go order, the manager i presume, was at the counter, and it took her a little bit before she greeted us, which was odd to me. She was busy doing something, so i was fine with letting her finish her stuff, till it turned into about a 5 minute wait to order. Then we ordered, i got the chicken broccoli penne with Alfredo sauce. We went and sat down and majority of the tables were dirty, or had left over plates on top of them. Which could be pointed towards the customers not cleaning up after themselves, but it would’ve been nice to have a table or two that was clean or wiped down. Then after waiting a little for the food, (not the cooks fault, they seemed slightly understaffed), we got up to see what was the wait, then the manager had alerted me that they didn’t have the sauce for my food, so i had to order something else. I felt bad for the woman that was cooking, she was very overwhelmed and the manager seemed to not pay her much mind. It wasn’t the cooks fault, she did very good for what she was handed. Then another woman showed up and she was very kind and jumped in and helped out. Shout out to her and the cook! I just think management could be better at this location, it was odd she didn’t know what was out and what wasn’t. The food was very good though, i ended up picking spaghetti with meat sauce as an alternative. I was a little upset that the food didn’t come with drinks, since it’s on the pricier side, but all in all the food...

We stopped in after a day at the beach. The service was great, person taking our order and who seemed to be in charge had a great and friendly personality and great service. The grill leader was phenomenal keeping up with orders and making everything fresh to order, keeping the plates or to go boxed clean and beautiful looking! As a foodie who eats with my eyes first.... phenomenal and the food was amazing. Got two of the baked chicken parmesan meals, 2 chicken alfredo meals, an extra two orders of bread sticks and two strawberry cheesecakes. The only reason I did not offer a 5 star is because of the cheesecake. I watched an employee bring new ones( frozen I'm sure but still delicious) up to the under counter fridge and pull out the ones already in there. Not a big deal, ofcourse rotation. However, I then watched the employee who put my order together peel off the use-by-date/time sticker off the cheesecakes we were given. Big NO! Not acceptable Serve-Safe Certified behavior. I used to work food service and know some things can actually still be good past the date so I didn't make a big deal .....however our $5-6 cheesecakes were super mushy and runny, had the texture of baby food! Being Cheesecake Factory we have had before from other chain restaurants, it's never ever been disappointing at all, but what we got as far as today goes, was beyond subpar and you should have taken the food loss and given us fresh, even if they were frozen cheese cakes or offered a refund.. Big bummer 😞 I will say the actual food items were top notch!!!! Absolutely...
