Loyal for years until lately. They had closed down for a few days and when they reopened they were not the same. The food was different and was like the food at Jimenez instead. I heard the two places are related but not the food. Jimenez food I do not like. It makes me sick, but the new Adrian's is the same or really close to Jimenez now. The wife and I would eat there at times about 4-5 times a week and I loved the chili verde combo burritos with cheese. I even got our daughter who hates chili verde to actually start ordering it. But the last three time we went there i only ate about 1/4 of it and tossed it away because I felt sick and we have not been back for couple months now. Plus the tortillas were not even the same. They did not taste as good and when you take a bite of the burrito it would be all rubbery and the burrito would tear apart from having to pull to break off the tortilla. And the chili verde was no way the same. I took a bite and out came a huge chunk of pepper about two inches long. I tore the burrito apart and it had several of them in it. So I have not been back to eat. I had gone back to pick something the wife wanted but even she said she was not liming it either anymore. So sad because I have enjoyed the food here for about 25 years and am sad to of lost my love for them. I gave two stars just because of the years...

Decades old hole-in-wall restaurant with delicious food. Don’t expect seating here, it’s basically to-go food.
As others have said, it’s a sketchy part of town, but I’ve never heard of a problem there. If nothing else, it’s a bit of a DMZ, and you’ll see people from all walks of life and affiliations there. Everyone goes for the food, and everyone knows not to mess up a good place. (It reminds me of Boca del Rio in La Puenta where everyone from doctors and soccer moms, to cops and wanted rival gangsters go, but at the restaurant, nobody screws around because the food is the common bond. LOL) I’ve never felt unsafe here.
We used to live much closer and go more often. Now it’s an hour round trip, so we go once or twice a year. It’s still worth it for us.
My wife’s favorites are the taco salad with shredded chicken, nachos with shredded beef, and beef combination burrito. She found the burrito a little spicer than usual tonight. Still good tho. I didn’t think the asada beef taco or asada fries were as spicy as her burrito. All fun food.

Read moreThe food was good, but the area is shady. This is a great place to grab a quick bite. It’s strictly take out, and I wouldn’t have it any other way. I ordered a carne asada burrito. The food was good and the ingredients were fresh. I ordered the red salsa on the side. It was not very hot spicy and tasted good. This place is located in a bad part of town. I personally witness drug deals going down in plain view at the smoke shop next door. There were also guys in the smoke shop parking lot playing dominos on a table. Bums and trash all in the parking lot and alley. Don’t come here at night, unless you like that kind on stuff. I recommend ordering food from here, but do so at your own risk. I hope Fresno PD is allowed to clean...
