This place has a very authentic feeling to it. Service is prompt and courteous. Their tacos and burritos are delicious. The chicharrón, pork rinds, is the best I've tried so far. I just love it! Crunchy, fresh and mouthwatering. Their manteca, pork fat, is far superior to any supermarket manteca and much better priced. Even the one you find on any Hispanic supermarket is not as good as theirs. Their prices are good, less than most other places and food is just as good or better. I am glad I found this place. I've been going to La Takeria ever since 1999. Back in the day's when it was named Don Pepes. They was also in the old restaurant that was knock down to make parking lot bigger. First time there our food was cold and didn't know they were in foil not on a plate. My tacos didn't have Lettuce or flavor.
