I was really hopeful of this place but it's been consistently inconsistent. And I wouldn't mind if it was just OK or average but after my last order, it's become necessary to put this review. I've been ordering take-outs for 3-4 times from here now. This time we ordered two main dishes and some pastries. One of the dishes that we really were excited about was the Bulgur Mushroom Pilaf, but what we got when I arrived back home just some plain rice with that frozen chicken stuff. Mushroom? Bulgur?? Not even a trace. Also attaching the pictures of what I ordered and what we got. The taste, however, was the blandest thing we've experienced recently. And when I called afterwards to see what has happened, the young lady on the phone was oblivious to how they even make the food. I simply asked how they make the Bulgur Mushroom Pilaf, and not only did she not know how it's served at all, she dismissed my questions with an attitude, saying they may have run out of bulgur, and then not minding a long silence over the phone. Then after asking 3-4 times and kindly saying this food wasn't expected, again with the same dismissive tone, she only said that their chef has left and there's nothing she can do. And of course, there's no apology or sorry or not even mentioning that I was also charged the original amount, but served without any of the essential ingredients in the food I ordered. Plus, she had all this attitude knowing she also got a pretty decent tip for an order pickup when I went to pick up the food. I now feel really naive to think she may have had that attitude during pickup maybe because I unknowingly gave out an unkind vibe or something, but no, I'm confident now that this is just how this place is. I hate to have made this comment as I really wanted to like this place. It's also in a good proximity to my neighborhood, and I didn't mind all the other things that made my previous orders unpleasant, but this was just the last straw. I'm done.

I've been watching the the work on this new eatery at the NW corner of Bullard and West for quite some time and the other day when I saw their Grand Opening sign my wife and I could not resist stopping in to check them out. Not to brag, but my wife makes excellent Baklava, so we have the goal set pretty high. We purchased 3 different Baklavas: regular, pistachio, and (???) can't recall the other. I had the pistachio later that evening and can honestly say --> it did not disappoint. They don't have a takeout menu yet so I snapped the front and back of the menu they do have. I'd give the Baklave 5 stars, but I think its only fair to start with the 4 stars since we haven't had anything else yet. Prices look reasonable and food looks delicious so we will be visiting again soon to try out some of their meal offerings. I plan to give an update soon. ___________________________________________ UPDATE: since our first visit we've gone back twice. Once around lunch just to have a quick bite and some coffee and yesterday for breakfast. We ordered a Shakshuka and a waffles and were able to split the dishes between the two of us and it sufficient. First time for me to have shakshuka and I'm now a huge fan of this dish. The waffles were a bit tough, so I think we'll try the pancakes next time. They didn't serve the waffles with butter; had to ask for it. Overall though, we enjoyed and plan to return again in the future.

It's a small cute place. The baklava is good. I love their pesto Alfredo. It's hard to find good Alfredo in town and I would say thier Alfredo is by far the best so far from all the places I've tried. I definitely want to try their other dishes. The kapachuri, not sure if I spelled it right but that was also good. Flaky bread with stuffed cheese. I also tried the chicken soup and it was ok but still good. Itll be good for those sick days when all you can eat is soup. It's very light in flavor so perfect for sick days. The iced coffee was ok. It's too milky taste for me, I couldn't taste the coffee as much. The fruit compote tea is good.

OMG where has this place been all my life!!! I went for the first time today and ordered 3 Khashlama bread bowls and 3 honey cake slices all to go and had the most amazing lunch with my mom and grandma. The khashlama stayed hot for 20 minutes after I picked it up and it was the most tender and incredible meat dish I’ve ever had. The bread bowl was perfect, the meat and potatoes were so tender and the way the to go plates were just top of the line secure and kept everything organized! I can’t tell you how delightful the honey cake is, it melts in your mouth and has the perfect amount of sweetness from the honey, it’s very authentic and fresh. This is coming from an Armenian that cooks these foods at home, the Baklava house makes them so much better than me lol! Absolutely delicious foods I cannot wait to visit again. This will be my go to spot for authentic, excellent Armenian food! I would...
