Carl’s Jr. — Restaurant in Fresno

Carls Jr not what it once was 2020 ! Ive talked to the california rep about this store and location by email . As most customers know who live close to it the homeless and prostitues and even the drug dealers saleing in the liquor store parking lot next to drive thru makes for a bad show . Even saw 2 people injecting themselves in plain view at drive thru ordering menu . The bus stop outside is not a benefit either . They keep raising there prices month or so before the minimum wage increases . I was told the store managers get a raise to with minimum wage increases . I said the minimum wage is for the lowest workers not for managers with benefits . I told the rep its corporate greed and did not hear anything back as far as responce on that . Have you seen the cost on there food lately ? You order 4 large scale burger combos and your out 50 bucks .Mcdonalds and in and out , subway sandwhich, burger king, is all withen several minutes of this carls jr location and you get more value for money . Ive had cold fries here and hamburgers were the cheese was not even melted on hamburger patty. This tells me the patty was cooked previously and cold . They have out priced there food for me as i can eat at a sit down restaurant for the same amount of money . What will there burgers cost in 2023 when minimum wage is 15 an hour and will they gouge the customer a month or so in advance like...

I've been here before and it has been okay, but this time around I ordered a Double Western Bacon WITHOUT cheese. I explained my allergy to cheese and the cashier accurately entered my order. When the order arrived I got into the car, only to find cheese on my burger. I took it back in, and waited. I hear the cook confirm that this one is without cheese, so everything would be good to go. The people giving me a ride had things to do. I got into the car, as the driver started to back, I open the wrapper and cheese abounds. I went back in ready to depopulate the cook, but then I had to laugh, because when I told the cashier I didn't have the time to wait for a third try, and would like a refund for the Double Western ($11.42 including tax) and, of course she calls the manager to come up to handle my refund. Carl’s Jr. has always been one of my favorite restaurants, and I’ve visited this particular location around five times. However, I’ve noticed a serious and ongoing issue that needs to be addressed. Upon entering, there is an overwhelming odor that suggests poor sanitation, and the presence of numerous flies further adds to the concern.

The environment is so unpleasant that I was unable to dine in and had to take my meal to go. If the condition of the dining area is any indication, I can only imagine the state of the kitchen. It’s surprising and disappointing that a brand like Carl’s Jr. is represented by this location in its current state.
