Not sure about anybody else, but Chipotle’s portions have been getting much smaller over the years while the prices continue to rise.
We came in for lunch one day. Our food was made and ready to be paid for when their register system shut down. Things happen, understandably. However… Staff made us wait 30 minutes as our food got cold for the system to come back on before we could get our food. Several other people who decided to leave the line had their food thrown away by staff. No drinks were offered to those whose orders had been placed or had been waiting to simply pay. No inconvenience discount was offered. Frankly, if they were just going to throw the food away if we left, the food that was already made should have been free simply for the inconvenience. What is $20 to a giant, National company like Chipotle, anyway? The small portion sizes and cold food by the time the system can back on were not worth waiting 30 minutes and paying full price for. Very disappointed.
I suggest that chipotle come up with a better way to handle this situation when it arises. Customers don’t have to spend their time or gas money to come here. Won’t be returning to this location. Parking lot is too...
Read moreI gave this location a shot despite the reviews on how light their servings are. I know locations can be hit or miss for some. Even then, that shouldn't be an experience anyone should have. My order is always under $15, a bowl with chips. Service was good. The standard. The portioning was sad. As an ex-chipotle employee, I know about getting hounded on about portioning, but that doesn't mean the RICE should be low. The bag of chips appeared half filled. It's not worth the like $2.15. I didn't realize I could ask for extra rice until post payment. So, I feel like I'm my own part to blame.
Whenever I crave Chipotle, I hit up the location by the Sierra Vista in Clovis. Or the Manchester Mall location. Those locations manage to fill my bowls enough to have that meal last all day or even two days. And I could never finish a bag of chips in one sitting. Never had that "hit or miss" from them.
Overall, to anyone checking reviews, I suggest taking time out of your day to go to a better location. I have nothing against the employees because I know they're just following orders. Management or corporate should improve this store....
Read moreThis location is very hit or miss but what I’ve noticed is that when ordering food at night is when the servers always skimp on the portion sizes every time because when I’ve come in the day time it’s a good size portion. However the last couple times I’ve gone at night I’ve gotten almost nothing. The irony about the CEO saying they’ll be giving bigger portions now with people recording. You shouldn’t have to record or ask for more to get your moneys worth but it seems like you do. The way they skimp is like if they earn more based on how little food they give you. The irony in this situation for today was an employee was getting food as well and as our tiny portion bowls were being made you see the employees being jam packed with food like really? I’m sure what they tell these employees is if you give them less food they’ll upgrade to more meat and we’ll make more money that way. Honestly at this point go to a local taco shop and support them as I’m sure they’ll give you your bang for your buck and for better tasting actually authentic...
