I recently visited Five Guys, and I must say, it was one of the most disappointing dining experiences I've had in a long time. With all the hype surrounding this place, I expected a burger that would blow my mind, but instead, I left feeling regretful.
First off, the prices are outrageous for what you get. I paid a small fortune for a burger that was smaller than I anticipated, and the fries? Don’t get me started. They give you a mountain of fries, but they’re soggy and lack any real flavor. It felt like I was eating a bag of grease with a side of disappointment.
Now, let’s talk about the burger itself. I ordered a classic cheeseburger with all the toppings, and it arrived looking messy and unappetizing. The bun was stale, and the patty was dry and overcooked. I could barely taste the meat because it was overwhelmed by the excessive toppings. They really should learn that less is more!
The service was another low point. The staff seemed disorganized and uninterested in providing a good customer experience. I felt like I was just another number in line rather than a valued guest. It took forever for my order to be ready, and when it finally came, it was wrong. They forgot my extra toppings and didn’t even apologize when I brought it to their attention.
To top it all off, the place was a mess. The floors were sticky, the tables were dirty, and the overall atmosphere was chaotic. I expected a casual, fun environment, but instead, it felt like I was dining in a fast-food nightmare.
In conclusion, Five Guys is not worth the hype or the price tag. If you're looking for a fantastic burger experience, I suggest you look elsewhere. Save your money and your taste buds – I...
Read moreHere's my non-biased opinion. The burger is ok but doesn't add up to price. I went two times to make sure the first time wasn't a fluke. In the end, I feel it's just an overpriced unoriginal burger (Slightly above average taste even with all the fixings). I would say a meal (with fries & drink) is worth $10 there, but even at that price, I couldn't see myself searching this place out. It just isn't that unique. I paid upwards of $15 and was disappointed. Even Jack in the box puts a box around your burger, this place puts foil, that alone should tell you something.
I would opt for In & Out because the burger matches the value, but if i was going to shell out upwards to $15, I would opt for Bulldog Grill's burger, much better and more unique.
I would also take Red Robin over 5 guys because at the same price or less at least you get to be serviced. That's my take, I hope it...
Read moreFirst time at Five Guys... Last time at Five Guys... Okay, to be clear here the staff was as nice as possible, got greeted walking into the restaurant, got the friendly service explaining all of their options and menu set-up. Got an efficient order time. Everything with the staff and customer service was beyond what I can expect from this kind of restaurant so kudos to that staff here. On the other hand, I didn't think the burgers where all that great for the price I paid. Yes, you get all the toppings, but select few you have to pay for. Yes, you get free twice dip and triple salted peanuts to the power of 4(salted). Yes, free refills in their cool touch screen flavored drink machine. And that's about it. 3 stars for the awesome staff and customer service but for the price and burgers(1 combo, 1 sandwich), I didn't think it...
