Panda Express — Restaurant in Fresno

Panda is consistent if nothing else. The food is good enough so the rating is high. I do have a complaint though. This has to be the only fast food place that will not let you change or special order anything. If you are a vegetarian then you honestly might as well skip panda. Every single main entree has meat in it. Your options are rice, noodles and greens. All three are sides. They have an incredible stock of fresh veggies in the cooler but will not make anything that is not on the menu. Even though there are locations that have had a vegetarian option, including this one. They still will not make a veggie dish special order for you. I have asked enough times to know not to bother. I am personally not vegetarian, but my wife is vegan. Regardless that is two customers that would frequent this place and have in the past but honestly don't bother much anymore.

I want to reiterate, I can go to any other fast food place and they will make me anything they have in the kitchen without hesitation just to take my money. But panda won't make a single entree that doesn't have some kind of meat in it, even if I'm willing to wait 10 minutes for it to be prepared. I would call...

Only go to this location if you want to be skimped on your meat and have nothing but sauteed vegetables for your main meal, me and my boyfriend picked up 2 bowls today, one with honey walnut shrimp and another with the black Angus steak, he only got about 4 or 5 pieces of the shrimps, and I got about the same amount of meat and pictured below is how much of the veggies I had to pull out so I can find my pieces of steak, you'd think since they charge extra for it they'd give you more meat than veggies no? Well not at this location! I even asked the server if he can give me a little bit of vegetables so there's not that much and he said "it's a standard scoop ma'am" and proceeded to get more veggies than meat after I had asked that, honestly the location on Blackstone and Shields may be ghetto, but they have better service than this one! This is literally the most vegetables I have gotten with this dish and I get it most of the time, not happy at all! We basically just paid for overpriced chow mein...

I'm not sure these reviews make any difference, but here goes... When we order food online it seems no one is making any effort to get the order correct. Now I understand that in the great skeem of things this is really a minor annoyance, but it still bothers me because when you order online you print out an exact list of what you want. So how hard is it to read a list and include ALL THE ITEMS ORDERED. Now supposedly you can contact the restaurant you ordered from to try to resolve problems, except the restaurant doesn't answer their phone, so, I get the feeling no one there cares much about whether they get orders right as long as they...
