Dont let the negative reviews on this place keep you from coming here. Those who left the negative reviews do not know good food. Take the time to visit this place on your own and form your own opinion. The food here is amazing. It's not too salty at all. I have eaten here almost daily for the last two weeks. The foods flavor is always consistent. The food is so fresh, and the flavor is amazing. The staff is always super friendly and inviting. This is one of my favorite places to eat in Frenso. I recommend the chicken Shawarma pita and dinner plate. Those dishes are my favorite. But seriously, you can't go wrong with any meal there. The hummus is delightful. The vegetarian plate is very tasty as well. That plate comes with a tasty arrangement of foods. The plates are always plated so beautiful as well. You can tell the owner of this restaurant cares about his customers. He isn't there to just make money. The food there is made with love & care.

10/23/24: Update to existing review. Not only does this place have amazing food. But the owner has a heart of gold. I offered to buy a homeless guy a meal & instead of taking my money. They feed the guy a free meal. Also, one day, I saw a stray dog, I asked for a container to give the dog water in. Not only did I get the container, but they also gave me meat to give to the dog to eat. Compassion for animals & homeless people is something many people have lost. This place is SO good! And service is kind, friendly and attentive.

My fiancé and I were heading back home from visiting relatives in Fresno and we decided we wanted Mediterranean food. Most places in Fresno were closed (after 5pm on a Sunday) but this place was open and has a great rating so we stopped in.

It did NOT disappoint!

For an appetizer, we shared a small hummus. Presentation was beautiful and the olive oil in the center was a nice touch!

For entrees, I got the mix grill plate (1 chicken, 1 beef, 1 lamb skewer) with a salad and yellow rice and my fiancé got the lamb kebab plate with pita bread and yellow rice. We both agreed our plates were delicious! I loved the side salad dressing with olives and feta cheese. The only comment I had was that the chicken kebab was slightly dry but the flavors were spot on.

Prices are very reasonable for the quality of food and portions. We left feeling very full.

New small family owned eatery at Marketplace El Paseo. Wanted to support new family owned Mediterranean Restaurant. Came for lunch. Aside from another couple place was empty, but came at 1300 probably past other’s lunchtime, on a Saturday. Noted several people picking up orders. Place clean. Was comfortably warm with swam cooler, with PG&E price hikes, I didn’t blame them. Employees were very nice and courteous. Food reasonably priced. Spent less $30 for both plates and one diet soda. Food tasty and well seasoned. Love lamb chomp in general. 4 pieces, well flavored, pita bread freshly made delicious. Garlic sauce. Salad fresh. I was happy with my choice.
