Ichiban — Restaurant in Fresno

I love Ichiban. Everything I have ever ordered there is delicious. We usually order the teriyaki beef and chicken plate, beef udon and one of the sushi rolls and share. The combination plate comes with salad, rice and tempura veggies on the side, all of which are amazing. The salad comes with in house sesame dressing and the teriyaki sauce is a perfect blend of sweet and savory. The rice in the sushi has just the right amount of seasoning, we can't get enough of it. They are closed on the weekends but worth the drive midweek for sure. The servings are generous and do not disappoint. We will be back...

I stopped by at 4pm for a chicken salad. Normally this place has decent food. I appreciate the steps theyve taken to post signs about masks being mandatory for patrons as well as the efforts taken to facilitate entry through front door, exit out the side door...great job. But sadly nobody preparing food was wearing a mask. The owner, the chef and expo...even a guy who walked in behind me and didnt have a mask on, who went right back into the kitchen area talking with the owner. Very...

This place has greatly changed from mediocre to a great place. I grew up in this area and back in 2005, this place was quiet, dead, and had less of a menu then it had before. Now its become a bustling place filled with more options.

Pros: -More menu items -Great Service. -Simple pricing. -Quality of food is great.

Cons: -Geared toward college students so sometimes its full sometimes its not. -Sometimes the food comes out s-l-o-w-l-y. Waited more than 20 minutes...
