Lee's Sandwiches — Restaurant in Fresno

Got the combo banh mi sandwich and chicken banh mi. My combo sandwich was OK; it was definitely not the best banh mi sandwich I've ever ate. I feel the sandwiches are very Americanized. Paid approximately $7 a sandwich. Good size sandwiches though. The sandwich was kind of bland and had too much of that pig cheese spread or whatever it was in it which i was not fond of.

My daughter couldn't stomach the chicken sandwich after seeing the inside. She took a bite and did not like it. I tried the chicken banh mi, myself, and found that it tasted like there was a lot of mayonnaise. The sandwiches do not have the asian flavors I was expecting, probably because they are trying to cater to the students' palates since its in the same shopping plaza as Fresno States market and dorms. Unfortunately I can't recommend the sandwiches at this time. I have to give the food 2 stars.

The #1 coffee was pretty good though. I got the regular size for about $5. I t was a little sweeter than what im used to however I would go back for that.

Place was clean and well maintained. Good appearance. Staff was nice and service was quick. Not many people when we went. Parking is ok, but keep in mind it is difficult to find parking in this area...

Yeah the white employee has no respect for customers. And no situational awareness. Why would I lie about my place in line. Hire more competent workers before they run this establishment into the ground. If you value being treated like a paying customer I would recommend not going here. This coming from the same employee who didn't believe me when I told her I was next as she then proceeded to tell me the line is "over there" then puts me on the spot with other customers cause she wanted me to get in the back of the line. Yeah she definitely wasn't trying to hear and understand anything from me. You guys have two signs in your store that says line starts here. I was there before that line even formed. I stand on my dissatisfied experience and now warn future guest to consider how they treat customers here. They'll protect their employees tooth and nail. How about you post the in store camera footage for everyone to see. No accountability. Embarrassing. And whoever made this sorry attempt of an apology I bet you look real b made. I hope corporate catches wind of this. Careful everyone apparently they don't have dissatisfied guest that come...

The store is supposed to close at 8 PM. I placed an order for a sea salt coffee at 7:12 PM. They charged me for it, but the drink they gave me was not sea salt coffee. I had the same drink here just a couple of days ago, so I know exactly what it's supposed to taste like — and this wasn't it. When I asked if it was the sea salt coffee, they admitted they were out of the sea salt cream. Why didn’t they tell me before taking my order and charging me for it? That’s basic customer service. If you’re out of a key ingredient, you need to inform customers, not just give them a different drink without saying anything.

On top of that, it was only 7:12 PM, and they had already put chairs up on the tables like they were ready to close. What’s the point of advertising store hours if you’re going to start shutting down almost an hour early?

There was also a Vietnamese guy — who seemed like he might be the store manager — and he clearly didn’t care about customer service at all. He showed no interest in making things right or even acknowledging the issue. If you don’t care about satisfying customer needs, then why even bother running a business in the...
