Mariscos El Malecon — Restaurant in Fresno

Portions were big and very well balanced with ingredients. I should have had only ordered one tostada as it was enough to fill me up. The Campechana was the same, I suggest a small unless you want to have a food coma. The complimentary hot sauce is off the hook good, could not figure out what made it extra special. I gave a guess but was way off, so did the other tables. They also served a complimentary seafood consume that was just right for the rainy cold evening weather. The server was very courteous and helpful with the menu. The atmosphere was very very traditional, so expect very loud music, not a complaint but I could not hear the server well, doesn't help I have military service Tinititus, lol. Enjoy...

Lunch time parking was tough, even though it's a large but shared lot. Ambience i rate a 4, it's kind of a "no frills " environment. Service was polite and quick. Only tried the Tacos, and although the Asada was average, the, pastor was very tasty. Chips were good, salsa is a little spicy for me, but I'm sure I'm in the minority. Not really fair to let me judge as I don't eat seafood, but the tacos were tasty, and imho, very authentic. Definitely...

I was craving ceviche and decided to try this place. Placed a pick up order & the lady was super nice over the phone and in person. OMG the food was BOMB! Came with tostadas, saltine crackers, tajin and chile. Presentation was super nice as well did not expect that. I will def be going there...
