This was my first time there. The food was good. But I was very disappointed with the service. I noticed they were charging me $4 more for a salad then what was on the board . They said well the price is just now changed and they never get any kind of notice and unfortunately they could not always know when the change was going to occur . Since the buffet was down and this was just one salad I opted not to get it especially since they were not going to honor the fact that they were still advertising the old price . They were saying that the price is just changed right then . They said that the home office changes them and they will come up as something different in their computer and that they never know when that's going to happen . So then I went to my table and my friend had just got in a salad and we looked at her receipt and it was the price on the board. So I took the receipt back and question them about it. They told me the price changed within the last 15 minutes and if they didn't know when it was going to change and have no control over it. They brought over the manager and I was trying to explain the problem with the pricing changing within 15 minutes on a salad. I I finally said it's it's okay never mind it's all right it's just a misunderstanding and I went and I sat down. The manager brought some money over and gave my friend a refund for HER salad. When trying to tell her that she does not owe my friend a refund but she insisted . No one asked for a refund. I just didn't understand why they were charging me four more dollars for a salad then they charge my friend 15 minutes before me. Or how the price has changed in the computer within 15 minutes on a lunch time and nobody there knew about it and none of the other prices reflected it.. it just seemed High when the buffet was actually closed. As far as Pizza goes it...
Read moreThe pizza was hot but it took multiple failed attempts for the team and manager to understand our order. Literally the easiest order but they kept messing up. 1 mountain size pepperoni, 1 mountain sized BBQ ranch 1/2 no bacon & small Lau 1/2 no bacon. When we ordered the representative read it back and said it would be 20 mins. COOL. Called at 20 mins because it seemed like a short time to verify order was actually ready. The person who answered said yes, didn’t take my name or phone number when calling & I called off a different phone. Landline first call and cell 2nd call. So I asked the lady to please read me back my order to which it was incorrect. I told them this isn’t accurate and told them to update it please. They did and said it would be 30-40 mins because more orders came in. how is it my fault that your team messed up and now I have to wait an additional 30-40 mins?! She said I’ll see if they can do it faster, to which I replied I will be there in 20 mins the original time quoted to pick up my food. Upon my arrival they had the order WRONG AGAIN!!!! So I asked to speak with the manager, I swear the manager was on something. She kept insisting the order was correct when I kept telling her politely it was incorrect. She would say “perfect we are on the right track” and id say no actually we aren’t and she’d ignore that and continue on. This went on for 5 more mins. Then she finally got it that the order was WRONG again. I’m so annoyed with the customer service and experience at this location. When we got home the pizza was greasy & not even the quality we expect when eating at mountain mikes. Very disappointed. I only have 2 stars for food because at...
Read moreMy daughter Avery turned 5 during quarantine and Mountain Mike’s made her birthday the best one yet! We had a big family trip to Disneyland, with relatives from out of state, planned for her birthday. Unfortunately it was canceled due to these crazy times. She was devastated, but her amazing aunt and cousins that live in Virginia surprised her with a scavenger hunt that was as fun and as memorable as Disney Magic. Avery was given clues/puzzles to solve that led her to a birthday gift. Between the birthday jewelry, yummy treats, balloons, and barbies her last clue led her to Mountain Mike’s in Sunnyside. Avery was greeted by Esmeralda who orchestrated a huge birthday surprise for her. She decorated the storefront, personalized a special pizza box, and bought Avery a giant bouquet of balloons and gave her a birthday present of art supplies and girly things every 5-year old would love. They are a business who went above and beyond to make Avery’s day special. All we did was buy a pizza and told them it was a 5-year old’s birthday scavenger hunt. On their own they made things extra special. We were completely blown away and touched by their thoughtfulness. And of course, the pizza was delicious too! We are Mountain Mike’s fans for life—we won’t be going anywhere else for pizza from...
