This review is purely based on their staff, not their food. I was there 9/18/2020. There was a long line because of a large order. No big deal. As I'm waiting in line, you can see the cashier (a bigger young lady) is having some tough words with a client about change. Not sure who was at fault for the escalation. That person finishes their transaction. The customer in front of me is ordering now. He completes his order and asks how long it will take for his food to be ready. The girl tells him something along the lines of "when it's ready." She gave him some attitude for an honest question... after all there was a good wait because of a large order. He walks away to wait outside. As he walks away she comments to a male coworker who is bagging food "People don't understand that food won't be ready the moment they order!" That coworker asks her which person asked her about wait time. That employee then called out to the guy to come back and explained that there are 4 orders ahead of his. The patron said he was okay with the wait, but wanted to know how long he should expect to wait. She didn't give a time or estimate to him mind you. He expressed that he feels awkward because the situation escalated from just a simple question and he didn't ask it aggressively. She speaks up and says she wasn't talking about him, but it was a comment about the patrons in general. !!! What!?!? A man preparing the food, who came off as a manager, comes to the front to see what happened after the guy walked away again. She told him what happens and he coaches her on what she should say. "We have orders ahead of you and we will prepare your food as quickly as we can." She nods her head in understandment. I was ordering with her when her coworkers called that guy back. I was ignored so she could be involved with that unnecessary conversation. She gives her attention back to me and does complement my face mask. I ask to order popcorn shrimp. She tells me that they don't have any and they don't have most drinks either so I shouldn't order drinks. I pause for a moment and decide that I don't want to do business at this location. I walked out. I'm not sure if she was new or what. I do know that she has no business being customer facing. Read moreWhere to even start.... my family and I drove 40 miles round trip to try the chicken sandwich. When ordering the man would only allow each group, even if different orders, to order three chicken sandwiches at a time. In order for anyone else in the group to order they had to go to the end of the line. Although they were already in line. The soda machine wasn’t producing the right mixture for any of the drinks, the guy shrugged his shoulders and didn’t care. While waiting for our food a woman making the food and bagging it was blowing and picking her nose, in plain site, and handling food. Many customers asked her to wash her hands and not handle their food. The workers got snippy like it was asking too much to wash your hands. Let alone don’t blow your nose over food. I asked for a refund before getting out food, we were grossed out and was turned off by the whole situation. However they were unable to due to their computer systems suddenly shutting down. Took 20 minutes to get our food, mind you only three other families were in the place. Not big orders. The disposition of the workers was very rude and had zero sense of customer service. They acted like they were doing us a favor by allowing the patrons to visit their shop. Made rude jokes to one another about customers, rolled their eyes, and showed blatant disrespect. As for the food itself. The sandwich wasn’t bad. Seems like they didn’t cook the chicken to the appropriate crisp. However done enough to not give food poisoning. The chicken sandwiches came with two very small round pickles. Being the pickles help play into the over all flavor, that seemed a bit cheap on their part. We ordered a couple sides. The beans and rice was as normal. The Mac and cheese looked like it had been sitting there all day, slightly burnt and curdled. When I asked the worker for their corporate number he advised me I had to google it and walked off. Mind you myself and every other customer was being very polite and reasonable. Read moreI can safely say the worst run business as far as customer service in the food business. Why you ask? Well I ordered online and they informed me after I got there that item was no longer on the menu and would I like a replacement. I asked them if there was anything ready so I wouldn't have to wait an extra 8 minutes plus and they said no, everything would take at least 8 minutes. So I told them yes I'll wait give me whatever they suggested. 15-20 minutes later they called my name and I was shocked, I had forgotten why I was there and waiting and they asked me what did we agree on, item 1 or item 2 for the replacement. I said at this point it doesn't really matter and sat down. 5 minutes later (almost 25 minutes in total) they called my name and gave me a single bag and I was so mad of waiting I just left. They had helped numerous people at this point and I must have been waiting so long that I went through 2 different groups of customers by the time I had my order. I got to my car and wondered where my drinks were. Went back and asked for my drinks and again they said the drinks were down and if I would like replacements and started to list them. I told them where they could shove them. No free food, no compensation whatsoever, the cheapest bunch of idiots in the restaurant business. They need to lose their licenses. This was around 6pm-635pm on 11-2-21 and yes I was in the restaurant almost 30 whole minutes. UPDATE!!!!!! On 11-2-21 I let Popeyes Corporate know exactly what happened and how long I had to wait, they said they would mail me a $15 gift card which after receiving no drinks for my entire order was a small consolation, but at least their trying. Imagine if you didn't get any drinks with your takeout order combos, it would completely ruin the meal right?
