Robertito's Taco Shop — Restaurant in Fresno

We went to the Guitar Center to check out a new guitar for my friend. So he said I'd buy you lunch. I had tried them at another location, but this one was different. The tacos had fresh homemade shells served somewhat Street Taco style, but with a special sauce. Inside, the meat was plentiful. Two of these are more than four street tacos by far in terms of quantity of meat. It's better to only order one or two than have extra unless you want to take them home. They reheat well, I've heard, but I didn't have a chance. I ate both of mine. The food was excellent, some of the most authentic Mexican food I've had in a long time, without going over the top. It was more traditional, old-style Mexican, like I've had my whole life in California. Established. The place was clean. My only complaint was that we were the only ones there. How can this not be a hit? This is just off of Blackstone and Barstow in the old Taco Bell building that has been renovated inside. The seating was comfortable, but it's not perfect. Still, it's not bad. It could use a little atmosphere; otherwise, the place would be excellent. Maybe some music, soft and gentle, not so loud that it drives you out, maybe a live entertainer sitting out on the patio, has been completely enclosed. WORST PLACE EVER. I came here on the 2-10-17 and I have a horrible experience first off I ordered a California burrito with only beef cheese and fries that's it and I paid with card my brother, on the other hand, ordered a Carne Asada fries and a California burrito for himself and so we got separate orders when he pulled up to the window the lady literally did not speak a bit of English she could not understand me at all she had to call a manager when all I said was I wanted a California burrito with cheese beef and fires and me and my bro were paying separately finally they seemed to work it out and I gave my card to pay and then my brother gave his card then we got our food and parked the car I checked my food and it had only beef when I said only beef cheese and fires also I checked my banking app on my phone and the lady charged me 20 dollars when that was my brothers order so she switched our orders and charged me for his i went back to fix the food and get my money back that I was owed so I got my money and they made me a new burrito and I went home only to find out my burrito had bacon in it and the problem is I can't eat bacon religiously speaking so I'm very upset that they messed up the food twice and the money once when it was so simple they also laughed at how many errors they had mad and it's not a laughing matter its bad...

Gave me the wrong order twice! I am vegetarian and ordered two vegetarian burritos with guacamole and potatoes. Which of course would be an additional cost. The first time I went back I emphasized how much I wanted a vegetarian burrito and as the cashier claimed to remember us, still gave us a hard time giving us our burrito the first time. Although we had already made a phone call. Anyways she gave us a "#4" which was assumed to be a vegetarian burrito and the cashier claimed that it was as well. However as I drive home, mind you, I love ten minutes away from there and tried to eat my vegetarian burrito. I realized with the first bite that it had meat! Which can really affect my diet. Considering I am vegetarian! Anyways I called the lady again and asked for my money back. I received less money than the original cost considering I added guacamole and potatoes. However the lady kept the receipt and I just realized how dissatisfied I am with their customer service.
