This is some of the best Mexican in town. It’s important to remember Mexican food is regional and most places in Fresno are the same regional flavour. I love the change up here. I’ve been coming here for almost 20 years. I’ve never had a bad experience, I bring everyone I know here. If I ever moved away I’d have to come back solely for this food. I am autistic and have intense food aversions. The food here never changes. My order is rarely if ever wrong (I always omit beans) the service feels like you’re family walking into your Tia’s store and she’s feeding you. The kitchen queens (and kings) make the BEST tortillas I’ve ever had and I gladly buy them by the dozen. They are fast but always respectful and give themselves a cushion in the times they give you. You can call ahead to make it even faster. I will never stop coming here. Queer and Immigrant owned and fully dedicated to serving their community. This place is my safe food and I cry when I crave it on Mondays haha. If I could give 10 stars I would. Their menu and drinks top to bottom are all winners. And their homemade salsas can never be duplicated. I will never stop coming here and I know you’ll love it if...
Read moreA few people have recommended this place for their breakfast burritos, so I was excited to give them a try! Unfortunately, I was disappointed with what I ordered. I bought a chorizo breakfast burrito with everything (chorizo, potatoes, eggs, cheese, and refried beans); it cost $8.10. It was mostly filled with beans (which had no flavor), and I could taste a little cheese every now and again. I had to dig to find any potatoes, and the texture of their chorizo was gummy. If the burrito had any eggs in it, they stayed in hiding because they were nowhere to be found. I know the tortillas are handmade, but they are a bit to "floury" for me, and they really had no taste. The customer service was okay, nothing to write home about. The atmosphere is bland, but the location is ideal, tucked away in the corner of Bulldog Plaza near Fresno State University. l visited at about 9AM so the parking was good not to crowded. The menu does say it offers vegetarian options and the restaurant appears to be kid friendly. Overall, I'm glad that I at least tried the food just to say that I did, but it's not a place...
Read moreWhat an experience I had today. Firstly, I've been coming here for over a decade, since college The handmade flour tortillas are impeccable. Each time. For those that know me, I'm a huge spice lover, and their HOT sauce is amazing. Today I misunderstood when my order was taking incorrectly, and the cook de ided to let me know I was wrong. I wasnt in the est mood, but Vivi, the cashier was so sympathetic, and truly sweet, sincerely, she turned my mood around. I decided to eat in the restaurant and the 2 owners Jesus and Javier, were in the dining area, talking to their guests. We became very well acquainted, and it just added to the great things I have to say about this place. You, and your staff have gained a lifetime customer. Keep doing what you're doing! Feeding us and...
