Read moreThis rating is specifically for this location. I absolutely love Coffee Bean. We stop there whenever we travel to Vegas, Pismo, LA and they are all consistently good. I have been to this location at least a dozen times and every time I return I'm disappointed. I have never had a drink made properly at this location and it's very frustrating because they're not exactly cheap. On my most recent visit I order a white chocolate latte with whip and asked that they don't add chocolate drizzle. The response I always get is oh it doesn't come with drizzle, however if I don't mention it, there is a LOT of drizzle that completely overpowers the drink. Anyway, the drink they made was a blended drink and not what I ordered. When I politely let them know this, I get looked at like I made the mistake but they went ahead and remade my drink. At first glance I could tell by the color it wasn't right and there was no whip, but the barista didn't acknowledge me and turned her back to me. At this point I was frustrated and took my drink and left. The drink was awful, overly sweet and you couldn't taste the coffee in it. I enter up trashing it. I really wish this place would get better training or something to bring it up to par with the coffee bean that I...
Read moreI was excited to try the iced horchata drink before I started my night shift so I came in 30 mins before close and the baristas were starting their closing tasks. When I came in the barista with Asian descent, dark hair in a slick bun tied back, and false lashes with tan skin seemed to be very bothered that I was coming to order. He tone was very âmatter of factâ , straight face did not make eye contact and had the once, and heard her phone buzz and checked and replied back while taking my order. When she handed off my drink she said thank you in a very insincere and monotone and took off in the back asap. I only ordered one drink and the store was dead empty but she made it seem like a huge inconvenience. It was just her and one other barista but I work at Starbucks and when it is 30 mins left towards close and I had a call out we have to solo store with a minimum of 15 customer transactions while the other barista closes down the store. even then I coach other baristas and also try my best to not be so uninviting to customers when they come inside and drive thru all at once. I can not imagine or understand how stressed one can be to make that kind of reaction to a customer as a barista myself đđ She did seem to be the lead on so that is a...
