Wahoo's Fish Tacos on 3053 Campus Dr in Fresno is a vibrant spot that brings a unique blend of Mexican and Brazilian flavors to the local dining scene. Known for its laid-back surf culture vibe and fresh, flavorful menu items, this eatery offers a casual dining experience that's hard to beat. Pros: Fresh and Tasty Food: The fish tacos are the star of the menu, made with perfectly cooked fish, fresh salsa, and just the right touch of lime. Variety in Menu: Beyond tacos, they offer a range of options including enchiladas, salads, and a selection of vegetarian choices. Casual and Fun Atmosphere: The surf-themed decor and relaxed environment make it a great place for a casual lunch or dinner. Excellent Service: Staff are friendly and attentive, ensuring a pleasant dining experience from start to finish. Cons: Limited Seating: The space can feel a bit cramped during peak hours, making it hard to find seating. Noise Levels: The casual vibe can get noisy, particularly when the restaurant is full, which might not suit everyone. Experience: Stepping into Wahoo’s, you're immediately greeted by the cheerful staff and the inviting smell of grilled fish. The decor is fun and authentically surf-inspired, with various surfboards and beach-themed paraphernalia adorning the walls. The fish tacos, highly recommended, are a delight with their fresh, clean flavors and perfect textural contrast between the soft tortilla and the crispy fish. Adding to the meal, the house-made salsas bring a vibrant kick that complements the dishes beautifully. For those looking for something a bit different, the fusion bowls with a base of rice and beans topped with your choice of protein are hearty and satisfying. Final Thoughts: Wahoo’s Fish Tacos offers a refreshing take on casual dining with its combination of fresh ingredients, friendly service, and a chill atmosphere. It’s a fantastic spot for anyone looking to enjoy a quick, delicious meal in a fun and laid-back setting. Whether you’re craving their signature fish tacos or want to dive into a fusion bowl, Wahoo’s delivers a consistently enjoyable experience that keeps locals and visitors coming back for more.

First time trying this location. I've had it before in the Bay Area and Hawaii. I like the ambiance and the size of the patio. Brother and I wanted to try this out since they have this Wahoo $5 Cocktail. The cool part of the dining experience for us is they let us eat in the patio with my furbabies. So, yes! Dog friendly too. I honestly appreciate the QR scanner placed on the table so you can order from the table without going inside too. That's how we placed our order. We ordered Fish and Chips and their two loaded fish tacos with lots of veggies with the intent of taking it to go. The server were fast and brought out the drinks first and then the food came after less than 10 mins, I am guessing, definitely didn't take forever. Lol. I like how the fish isn't greasy, it's crunchy right batter and also their citrus slaw is yummy too that comes with the fish and chips. The fries are thinly cut but seasoned right. My brother enjoyed his drink and his meal. The fish is also fresh and the texture was as almost as similar to chicken. Overall is great. Food is decent price and you get your money's worth. Fast service, the servers are also very attentive. We will definitely come back again to try other stuff here. 👍

Great staff! Great beer 5/5 (before 4pm) Edit: When 4pm hits they forget about you even though its about 50% capacity at best (busy but not THAT busy). Asked 3 times for water, once it was offered and I said yes. Wife got hers. Burritos came with no sauce even though menu said green sauce. I ate half, did not taste any. It was also cut in half. Dry burrito. Waitress said "you could see" or "you could check" but I already had, (burritos were served with knifes to cut in half so I did). The 3x lack of water and challenging my taste buds/eyes over green sauce was enough for me to close my tab. In a world where restraunts need customers, there are better choices. Thank you to the before 4pm staff though.

We just went to dine in at a restaurant we hadn't eaten at in a while. The cashier was very informative, gave us all the options to each dish we ordered, and we ordered a lot of food. I highly recommend Wahoo's for the environment, staff, cleanliness, and overall great food. We had the chicken and steak fajitas (which were fresh, hot and crispy), the ckn tortilla soup (packed a lot of flavor and very hearty) the cajun fries, the ckn/cheese loaded quesadilla, the fish citrus slaw taco (very light, summery, and full of flavor), the carne asada 1988 taco, the carne asada burrito, and the churo chips. We intended the apps to be served up first while we waited, but it all came out very expediently. We enjoyed our experience and all of the very fresh food with a great twist to the usual heaviness and greasiness that somw mexican food offera. The two men that helped us were very welcoming and provided great service. We wil definitely be back again, just won't wait soo long to return. If you're looking for diversity in the menu, wholesome filling food, this place is highly recommended! Thank you Wahoo's for the...
