Day before yesterday was our first time back in a year and half, we will definitely never return. We have always come here for the atmosphere, the food is just ok/edible. Unfortunately our experience this visit was shocking, thinking out loud I made a comment about my spouses lunch (because it had gluten on it I wouldn’t be able to eat off his plate too)- the waitress snatched the plate back loudly stating OMG je$u$ chri$t while stomping back to the kitchen and making a public showing of throwing the meal in the trash. Our ticket was then brought out by the hostess with the wings removed- but my spouse was still with no meal and the waitress never came back to apologize or talk to us for any resolution. After we were ready to just leave I tried to speak to a manager the waitress butted in and said she would just comp it all, I expressed we have no problem paying but that I felt an apology to my husband and children was in order. She refused to apologize and went into aggressively blaming me. We didn’t want the meal comp, I had a $4500 ysl bag on my shoulder we had no problem paying, we deserved an apology for being treated like that. $16 for gas station nachos and $10 for a side salad, I at least expect decent service, not to have my family treated like trash.

There should be a sign in front of the restaurant the reads “DOG FRIENDLY”. This place would’ve received 5 stars if it weren’t for the dogs!! My son and I wanted to dine outside to enjoy the view but unfortunately we couldn’t because he has a fear of dogs and there were 2 outside. I became grossed out when I saw dander and hair in the air from the big dog after it was shaking vigorously. The food is delicious, the service was fast and good, the atmosphere was very comfortable and the bathroom was clean. The restaurant is across the street from the ferry station and whale touring boats. If you don’t mind dining with someone else’s pets then this is a great place to visit!

We had two servings of the steamers and it was abysmal. $18 per plate for maybe $4 worth of food if I’m being generous. The size of the clams was laughable… but in a really sad, pathetic, and painful way. There were the size of my pinky nail, and the actual meat was half that. We honestly just paid for the shells. We were also just trying to get a substitute of vegetables instead of fries for our child and even that reasonable request was a chore to get ordered. You would have thought we were trying to buy a car here. Honestly just really disappointing and expected more. I would recommend eating at Spud Fish & Chips for an affordable and tasty eating experience.

What initially was a great time on the island, felt like it ended with unwelcoming vibes.

First complaint: first staff member approached us in a condescending tone and lied to our face stating that customers needed to use outside patio after letting us know that they were understaffed and no customers would be using patio.

Second complaint: second staff member; young waitress was not polite, curt, with no sense of urgency.

She did not check on us, and only checked on us when it was time to ask if we were ready to take the check. It was 9:35 p.m. and plenty of time for a second cup of coffee and she was not accommodating. It’s ONLY a cup of coffee. She did not acknowledge me when I asked for a couple of spoons and continued with not acknowledging me after placing spoons and check on the table. I had not asked for check nor was it even CLOSE to closing time. I would understand if it was 10 or even 5 minutes til, but there was time. She was lacking customer service skills and etiquette.

With other reviews it sounds like this is a recurring issue with regard to customer service and servicing customers. This is a customer service industry. Anyone who is employed in this industry should know this. This issue needs attention as there have been many complaints and if this were my restaurant I would want to be proud of my staff and treat ALL customers equally. If staff are not having a good day or under payed, PLEASE do not take it out...

I'm giving two stars. First the food was great. The problem was the rude server/ waitress. My wife & I and our little pup that was in a stroller entered thru the outside patio area because that's were dogs are allowed. So my wife went to the front To check in and find out about the wait time and I stayed with the pup next to the railing were no one was sitting out of the way.. When my wife returned she started to tell me it was 45 min wait but for us to hang out because there was a large party that hadn't showed yet and maybe we could get a table earlier. When all of a sudden this female server comes and very loudly says we are not seating people in these chairs I am the only server here and it will be 45 minutes before I can take your order I can't even get you drink. Everyone on the patio was looking in our direction. For one we weren't sitting two my wife already talked to the hostess and three we were in the process of moving to the waiting area out front when this server approach us and started ytalking loudly too us. After a short 15 minutes we were called for a table and guess were they seated us yep right at the chairs at the railing thank god we had a different waitress. We get that your under staffed but maybe one of the other employees clearing tables could help with the customer ordered or the manager should help out if needed. No reason to get stressed and take it out on...

Astoundingly overpriced food. The worst cup of chowder I've ever had. It basically tasted like warm milk with pepper in it.

The staff were friendly enough to avoid a 1 star but our waiter literally forgot to put one of our entrees on the ticket... out of 2 people eating. It was only when I asked about the status of the sandwich 5 minutes after receiving the rest of our food that the waiter realized his mistake. When he went to give the order to the kitchen he didn't put it in as a rush order or do anything else to make up for this mistake.

Our entrees were remarkably average for their price and did nothing to justify the cost other than having a view of the marina while we ate. I paid $21 for two fish tacos that had dry coleslaw and the worst salsa I've ever had. It also came with chips and salsa even though the menu said everything comes with fries. The salsa for the chips was the same as on the tacos and it was so bland I thought it was marinara sauce. To the point where I asked the waiter if I was mistakenly give marinara sauce instead of salsa. I was assured it was their poor, tomato sauce excuse for salsa because the waiter brought me another cup of the same dribble.

There are plenty of other places with the same view to offer in addition to good food.

Just avoid this place unless you hear of new ownership or...
