Was so excited to go here after a long day traveling. Stood at the counter with another customer for 5 minutes, no sign of anyone. Finally looked around a corner to see two employees just sitting on stools. They just stared and me and said nothing. A few minutes later I asked if they worked at Riptide and one of them got up, ambled over, and she just acted super resentful. Didn't even want to help the other person who'd been waiting longer than me. The employee was a tall, larger woman who just acted put out about everything, no trace of warmth or welcome.    Read moreWaited 45 minutes for "instant" oatmeal and a smoothie we didn't end up getting in the end due to Unexpected technical difficulties with the blender. Couldn't figure out how to refund my card so they Gave me 6$ cash back for the smoothie but had no problem keeping the tax and $6 tip I had given prior to the experience.
There were only 2 other people in line at the time of ordering so it wasn't a case of being in the weeds either.
To top it off not even a simple apology was given for the inconvenience.
I understand having difficulties but it's in our toughest times that our true service should shine....
