Ive been waiting to give a review of this location for a year now. I have given them a year to win me over and they have not. This is by far the worst Chick-Fil-A location I have ever visited. Here are the reasons for my rating:
I’ve been here multiple times and the experience was as good as any BUT recently they have gone incredibly down hill. This feels like a place filled with teenagers coming to hang out instead of work and are very out of touch and don’t understand how to do their job or ensure quality of any kind. The manager seemed absent or just as confused as the employees. It’s very disappointing and I don’t expect this from Chick-fil-A at all. They are incredibly absent minded at this location. I placed an order. I got the lemonade but they didn’t check the order to make sure it went through their system - for some reason it did not. I then when following up a long time later thinking it was strange I didn’t get my food, they had about 12 people standing around trying to help and doing nothing where none of them understood what was happening, so they took turns asking me if they can help me. Each time I referred back to the group around the cash register as the people helping me but the cycle continued. Finally, when my order came out, I noticed it was incomplete. Instead of the person handing my order hearing me out to explain it didn’t have the fries, she cut me off and said that’s all they had for me and walked away. I then walked up to the counter and asked for my missing fries.
Normally, I am not inclined to write long reviews like this, but the lack of care, incompetence, people just hanging out in such a mindless way created a very disturbing experience in comparison to the standard every other Chick-fil-A holds themselves to.
Hope they...
Read moreI usually go to the Chick-fil-A in Nassau Bay, where the service is always great, but I recently visited the Friendswood location and had a disappointing experience.
I placed a mobile pickup order, and at the Nassau Bay location, they have a QR code system where you scan when your food is ready, and they prepare it. I assumed it would be the same process at Friendswood, but apparently, they have a different setup. By the time I realized this, I was already in the wrong lane with cars behind me, so I couldn’t back up or move over.
When I pulled up to explain, the employee ( young blonde) taking my order immediately asked for my name, and before I could say anything else, she very abruptly told me, “For future reference,” and seemed frustrated with me. I understand policies vary by location, and I don’t mind following the correct process, but the way she handled it rubbed me the wrong way. Instead of assisting me in a friendly manner, she assumed I was intentionally ignoring the system. If she had simply explained it calmly, I would have gladly apologized and learned for next time.
I waited before writing this review because I didn’t want to be overly reactive, but I do think this employee could work on her tone and customer service approach. Mistakes happen, and not every customer is familiar with the layout of each location. A little patience and understanding...
