MOD Pizza — Restaurant in Friendswood

I've been a fan of MOD so I was glad when we got one here in FW. It was a Thursday night around 7:00 and I was kind of surprised to see how long the line was. I was glad that the community was supporting the new place but I was hungry! I got out my phone and went with a mobile order while I was waiting in line. All went smoothly....one margherita, and two custom pizza's ordered and paid for. I moved to the pick up area and the manager asked if I was waiting for an online order, I said yes and he quickly confirmed it with me and asked if I'd like to try some of their fresh lemonade while I waited (it was delicious). The two girls working the pizza oven were like a finely tuned machine.....pizza's going in, being turned, coming out, being cut, boxed or called out to customers. Our pizza's came out promptly I took them home and they were absolutely delicious. Crisp crust, fresh toppings, nicely boxed, just everything I could have hoped for. lemme give them a big thumbs down. i don't always provide reviews but when i do, it means someone did a horrible job. you'll always hear 100% honesty from me. when i received my order of a simple medium cheese pizza, i had no idea what was waiting inside of the box until i got home. i opened the box, took a bite out of the first slice and was immediately disappointed. how could someone mess up something so easy? i mean it's a cheese pizza. nothing special. the pizza was already cold. the crust was pretty hard and too thin. i even saw a little feta cheese on a slice (i obviously never ordered any feta cheese, i hate that stuff). what a waste of money. i'd like to get back the money and all the time i wasted ordering and then driving to pick it up. is this what they would call being different from the big pizza chain companies? don't go here unless you want to be...

Had a phenomenal experience with every member of the team that was on shift during my visit around 9:30pm 10/13/22. I was quick to acknowledge it was my first time there and the team members were glad to walk me through the processes for ordering a pizza and some salad. The products were fresh and the entire facility was clean from top to bottom. The professionalism and service excellence demonstrated at this location is a model that should be emulated at other locations to set the standard at a level that few competing brands can come even close to. I will gladly recommend this brand and this specific location to friends/ family/ and colleagues. I will easily make this a staple location on our restaurant selection for...
