I went to Gina's with my wife last Saturday. We have been several times before and have brought friends and family to what was once our hidden gem. Unfortunately we did not have a pleasant experience this time. The complimentary bread that was brought out had mold on it. We informed the server and asked her to let the manager know. All I wanted was acknowledgement from the manager and an apology since my wife had taken a bite of the moldy bread. The manager was informed by our server right away but he strategically and purposely avoided contact with us the entire meal. I expected no compensation for the complimentary bread. After the bill was brought out and I paid for our meals, like magic, the manager came by as he knew he was out of danger of having to comp anything. He didn't greet me, he didn't start with an apology, he started the conversation like this: "Let me talk to you about that bread". At this point I was past the point of listening to him and informed him that they had lost us as future customers. All he had to do was come right away and acknowledge our experience.
Furthermore our calamari appetizer was extremely rubbery, not fresh as we have been used to, and our main courses did not satisfy (probably because of how our night started).
I recommend looking at some of the other wonderful Italian restaurants in the area instead of...
Read moreOur 1st visit, we were so looking forward to it. Had the best pizza rating in the area, the parking lot always crowded. Going in the place was a very nice restaurant, people walking out with pizzas. Very good high-end wine selection. A place we thought could be our new go to.Then we ordered. The bread and oil were very good, my side ceasar was very good as was her soup. We ordered a bottle of wine. 1) The pizza I ordered arrived cold in a plate, a medium instead of a large. $16 instead of $19, for much more as I was counting on taking more home. It had a nice, soft bread and plenty of toppings, but not what I expected from a brick oven. My wife ordered cheese sausage pasta shells. 2) It came out refrigerator cold. 3) After warming she realized there was no meat in it. They brought out a bowl of sausage to add. She said it was very cheesey and rich. Owner and manager do come by and check with you. They got to know us this night. 4) Later, the owner while passing by emptied our bottle in our glasses, up to the top and took the bottle away. We both looked at each other. I know it was a good service gesture, but to the top. 1/2 a bottle we were gonna take with us. The manager kept saying give us another try. They did comp her meal, as they probably should have. A bad night for us, but a bad night for them. Sometimes you only get 1 chance to impress. We...
Read moreOne star for restaurant and food 5 stars ⭐ for the waiter. Where to start let's start with appetizers. Crab cakes something simple and to the point right. Especially since they serve frozen sam's club out of the box crab cakes. One problem they forget to cook/fry/microwave the crab cakes. Not sure who could give them more than one star the only food good or eatable was the soup and I'm scared to see what tomorrow will bring stomach wise. The snapper you would think for $31 you would get a good meal even since it states there is scallops and shrimp as a topping. Should have mentioned there is less than a shaving of scallop to the point you can not find them on the plate. Shrimp again frozen not even room temp sooo disappointed. Chicken Alfredo it's really sad when you can honestly say olive garden hands down is so much better, and cheaper! Don't need a refund or coupon we will not darken the doorway there again. P.S. if you chose to visit this location remember to use the bathroom you have to walk through the employee's work area to get to the bathroom which are not that clean. Good luck! Just an honest review unlike so many I have seen on here...
