Best custard I have had in awhile, and I come here at least once or twice a week. I'm surprised the employees haven't recognized me by now hah. One of the things I really enjoy is that the menu changes based on the season, and right now they have their Christmas options. My go to currently is the candy cane concrete and I like to add Oreos to it. My dad and brother both got the eggnog shake (btw they make it fresh hourly!), and they both were huge fans of it. Usually, I get the Boot Daddy, which consists of caramel, Oreo, and hot fudge yum!
Prices can get $$$$$, especially if you compare it to the Sonic next door. A small concretes/shakes can be about $5, so if you bring a family of 4, that is at least $20. However, servings are big, and the small size is plenty enough for me. They do have cheaper options, which include custard in a cup/cone for $1.19. I've really been craving custard in a cone dipped in chocolate btw. However, be a part of their loyalty program! Ask for a loyalty card and you can activate it online for free. Each time you go, you can get points per dollar you spend. If you spend $50, you get a $5 treat. It may not be much, but it is way better than nothing.
This location is in a great location! It is next to apartments, the tollway, shopping centers, and the FC Dallas soccer fields. There is ample parking and easy to find and get there. One downside is that even though it is in a great location, there is no indoor seating. There are benches, and it is enjoyable to sit outside when the weather is nice. However, it can be cumbersome if it is in the middle of the summer or winter because we usually drive back home or just eat in the car.
The business is also very well run. They seem to be very well staffed, so you do not have to wait long for your dessert most of the time. There was 1 time I went recently that I had to wait a little longer than usual, but I wasn't in a rush so I didn't mind.
Obviously, I'm a huge fan, and will probably be back in another couple of days lol! Can't get enough of the candy cane...

The general manager’s behavior was not only unprofessional it was outright disgraceful. Instead of showing even a shred of courtesy or leadership, he stormed to the window to confront me with hostility, creating a needless and aggressive scene in front of waiting customers and my children. I calmly explained that I preferred not to order from the outdoor line, where employees with iPads are unable to take payment and orders often sit out too long, resulting in my kids receiving partially melted ice cream every time. Rather than address this valid concern like any competent manager would, he cut me off, announced with inflated self-importance, “I’m the general manager,” and essentially threatened that if I didn’t comply with his flawed system, I wouldn’t be allowed to order at all in the future.
I pointed to several clearly melting orders sitting unattended on the counter evidence of the very issue I was trying to raise. He sneered and flatly denied what anyone with eyes could see, talking down to me as if I were too stupid to recognize melting ice cream. As I attempted to leave without further conflict, he escalated again raising his voice, taunting me, and when I said I might not return if this is how customers are treated, he raised his belligerent voice again, “Don’t come back!” and barked, “Take your business elsewhere!”
This wasn’t leadership. This was an angry man on a power trip, trying to intimidate my little girls, customers for daring to voice a legitimate concern. His actions weren’t driven by policy they were driven by ego, pettiness, and an utter lack of emotional control. No business should ever entrust its reputation to someone this incapable of basic decency, let alone customer service. His contempt for respectful dialogue, especially toward families just trying to enjoy a treat, makes it clear: this location has a serious leadership problem and it starts at the top.
I recommend that no one go to this location wasting their family time to endure blatant disrespect and hostility toward...
Read moreExtremely Disappointing Drive-Thru Experience at Andy’s (Frisco – Eldorado & Frisco St. Location):
Today (05/13), my daughter and I visited the Andy’s location at the intersection of Eldorado Parkway and Frisco Street in Frisco to celebrate the end of her exams. This was our first time at this particular location—we regularly go to the one at Eldorado and Custer Road, where we’ve always had pleasant experiences.
Unfortunately, our visit today was extremely disappointing and upsetting. We used the drive-thru and, while reviewing the menu, we pulled slightly past the ordering window. We then reversed and came closer to the ordering window. The employee working the drive-thru appeared visibly irritated from the moment we arrived. He repeatedly said he couldn’t hear us, but instead of handling the situation with patience or professionalism, he acted as though we were a burden.
Throughout the interaction, he was cold, uncommunicative, and clearly uninterested in providing even the most basic level of customer service. He didn’t inform us of the total, handed back our card with a scowl, and when he gave us our order, he said nothing—no greeting, no thank you, not even a word. He then slammed the window shut in our faces without so much as a glance.
This level of rudeness is unacceptable, especially from someone in a customer-facing role. If an employee cannot manage basic courtesy or control their attitude, they should not be working in a position that involves interacting with customers. This experience left a very negative impression, and we are extremely disappointed.
We hope this feedback is taken seriously and that appropriate steps are taken to ensure no other customer is...
