It’s nice to finally have something different than another fried chicken place or taco stand in Frisco. The restaurant is a little small inside and noisy, but the race car theme, tables and decor looked unique. Originally, we first tried F&F when their food truck was in our neighborhood rotations during COVID. That being said, we were already a fan of their cuisine. I was happy to see more options on the menu. There are a few differences between the restaurant and the food truck. The restaurant offers hibachi grilled entrees in a rectangular styrofoam box. These have a protein cooked on the hibachi with cabbage, carrots and rice or noodles. The kitchen bowls used to have a variety of items on top but to my disappointment, the sweet potato noodle, corn and gyoza (fried dumplings) are now missing. The gyoza is sold as an appetizer on the side. Speaking of extra, when dining in, they don’t have complementary water. All drinks or “cups” cost $1.99. The cashier said (with out us asking), “because everybody asks for a water cup but takes the soda.” Thankfully, we had some water bottles in the car. I tried the Hawaiian bowl. It’s presented like a salmon/tuna poke bowl with rice, lettuce, avocado and yummy sauce but it also has pineapple and green peppers. Sounds like an interesting combo, but the flavors all work together. He had the chicken hibachi grill with fried rice and veggies (mostly cabbage). The sauces were delicious. We plan to come back soon with our teens.

Fast casual place. Good: Atmosphere is cool. Has the car/garage theme. Restroom clean! Food was tasty. Shrimp was delicious with the sauce but can add up as it’s $2 each. Tofu hibachi grill was good and came with two different sauces to try out. Wow bowl chicken was cooked perfectly. All of the dishes tasted good and safe bets but also nothing that would necessarily be a craving or bring me back. Quick service. For improvement: Galbi bowl was tough to eat with the plastic fork. The plastic fork was not strong enough to poke through the meat, not that the meat was tough. Need metal forks to eat the Galbi with. Menus set up high and spread across the full length of the bar so you can’t see the items on the left menu panel or even middle panel when you make it to the register— why do restaurants do this? Have a repeat of the menus— do one set at the front so people waiting in line can start thinking about what they want, then a same set of menus behind the register so we can remember. Tables were sticky- when we arrived and during the middle of our meal, we were the only ones in. Bad: nothing was bad though they need some fine tuning

Listen i just popped in there to order two chicken bowls for me and my wife. I took a peak in the box and asked how much chicken they typically serve, they said that’s 6 oz but we did a big scoop and hooked you up. I look up and said i can eyeball this and tell it’s maybe 4 oz in one box and 4.5 in the other. They go on to tell me there is no way and blah blah blah. So i order more chicken because it’s easy to tell they only give you 4 oz. So when he hands me the box of extra chicken he promises me again the other was more than 6 oz and this one is exactly 6 oz. So when i get home and measure the chicken out what do i see….. 4.4 oz of chicken!! Needless to say I will not return. Cook at home folks unless you want a 3/1 ratio of rice to chicken.

I think they have decent food for fast food - but not only are the prices just a hair too steep for fast food, when you go inside at 7:50 & Google says they close at 8:30 on Sundays (& the hours are recently updated too btw) what I assume is the owner & a kid working behind the counter tells me they are closed so their menu is limited. I said ok, but it says yall are open until 8:30 & verified recently so now you’re closed at 8:00? I just want 2 bowls to go w fried rice - they both cut me off and said we only have steamed rice to offer that we made not long ago🙄 Well great but that’s not what I want to BUY for the nearly $20 bowl. Basically, they’re lazy and didn’t want to make fried rice bc they really close at 8:30. I did not get a good feeling either. Last time we went in, I said I didn’t want all the vegetables in my bowl just the broccoli and they CHaRGED me $3.99 MORE to not use more of their vegetables. So I won’t be back to this location. Very poor customer service and to the owner lying to the customer about the hours bc they didn’t want to make more food/money is wild. It’s more $ and clearly yall are bending people over w your prices anyway. I ate down the street at blue fish last week- my bowl was about $3 less and I got egg rolls w it. AND THEY WERE OPEN AT REGULAR HOURS - at least the hours they verified w google a week ago. Get it together F &F in Frisco. also - if you’re dying for F&F - go to other locations - they’re are a ton around & Frisco’s prices are higher than...

Update: My wife and I both spoke with the manager after almost 2 hours (Our food sat on a counter for 1.5 hours), he started the order over and we got our food almost 3 hours after the original order. I still won't order delivery from F&N, they use ChowNow which puts the order on DoorDash, UberEats, etc and the first one to accept the order gets it. We have had MANY orders opened by doordashers & ubereats, one time they ate half of the french fries. It's also worth mentioning that the guy that delivered our food was not the person doordash claimed was our delivery person.

Original Post: DO NOT order Delivery. It's outsourced to a black hole called chownow. My food sat on a counter for 30 minutes before the restaurant called to tell me the delivery company never picked it up. At first I was confused because I order from the F&F Website. F&F told me I had to call Customer Service, they couldn't give me the number or even the name of the company! I've now been on hold for 20 minutes with chownow waiting in queue, still no food and I can't go pickup new food elsewhere because I'm stuck on hold!

Before they outsourced the delivery, the food was good. A little bit expensive for what you get, but better than panda express, not nearly as...
