Spicy Vihaar is a true gem for anyone craving authentic Indian cuisine. From the moment I walked in, the warm and welcoming ambience set the tone for a wonderful dining experience. The décor is tasteful, creating a cozy atmosphere that complements the food perfectly.

What really stood out was the incredible variety on the menu — from flavorful curries and freshly baked naan to delicious street food favorites and aromatic biryanis. Each dish was packed with bold, authentic spices and cooked to perfection. The flavors were well-balanced, rich, and deeply satisfying. You can truly taste the care and tradition behind every bite.

Whether you’re new to Indian food or a longtime fan, Spicy Vihaar offers something for everyone. I’ll definitely be returning to explore more of their menu!

UPDATE: my second visit after 2 weeks and expanded review….

A Delicious Journey Worth Repeating I had the pleasure of visiting Spicy Vihaar once again, and I’m so glad I did. After being impressed during my first visit with their authentic flavors and warm ambience, I returned to try out their soft launch menu — and the experience was even better the second time around.

As the name suggests, Spicy Vihaar truly delivers on bold, vibrant flavors that celebrate the richness of Indian cuisine. The food is packed with the kind of spice and depth that excites your palate without overpowering it. Every dish I tried — from starters to mains — was carefully crafted with traditional spices and aromatic ingredients that made each bite incredibly satisfying.

The variety on the menu is impressive, and it’s clear the chefs take pride in presenting a wide range of authentic dishes that represent different parts of India. Whether it’s the creamy gravies, perfectly spiced biryanis, or flavorful appetizers — there’s something for every taste. The consistency in taste and quality from my first visit to the second speaks volumes about their kitchen’s dedication.

Beyond the food, the ambience remains cozy and inviting — the kind of place where you feel comfortable settling in for a long, leisurely meal. During my latest visit, I was also impressed by how open and welcoming the staff were when it came to customer feedback. As part of their soft launch, they actively encouraged suggestions to help them refine their offerings, service, and overall experience. That level of humility and commitment to excellence really sets them apart.

Spicy Vihaar is not just another Indian restaurant — it’s a place that values tradition, flavor, and customer experience. I’m excited to see how they continue to grow, and I’ll definitely be coming back to explore more of their delicious menu. Highly recommended for anyone seeking true Indian taste in a warm and...

Today I tried the Military Non-Veg Bhojanam from Spicy Vihar, and it was an amazing experience. Every dish was full of flavor and cooked perfectly. Here’s what was on the plate:

🍽 Appetizers: • Tava Fish: Perfectly pan-fried with a crispy outer layer and soft fish inside. The spices were just right. • Chicken Lollipop: Crunchy and juicy, with a tasty marinade. A great start to the meal.

🍛 Main Dishes: • Ghee Pulav: Simple but flavorful rice with a nice ghee aroma. It was light and went well with the curries. • Kheema Biryani (Thalapakattu style): Rich and spicy minced meat biryani with bold flavors with chitti muthyal rice. A highlight of the meal.

🥘 Gravies: • Shrimp Iguru: Thick, spicy gravy with perfectly cooked shrimp. Full of South Indian flavors. • Chicken Iguru: Rich and well-cooked with tender chicken pieces and a nice blend of spices. • Goat Masala: The goat meat was soft and well-marinated. The masala was thick and delicious.

🥣 Sides: • Raita: Cool • Salan: • Gajar Halwa (Dessert): A perfect ending to the meal.

Overall, this bhojanam was a complete treat with great variety and authentic military-style taste. Good service and great ambiance. I would definitely recommend it to all non-veg lovers.

We visited this place first during their 2 nd week of soft opening and tried andhra chilli chicken , chicken majestic, cashew chicken pakora and peper baby corn as appetizers Ghee pulav. Methi chaman and chicken mugalai as main course. Ended with chicken fried rice. All appetizers were very tasty including fried rice. The star ⭐️ item would be...

We went to this place on Sunday not expecting we will have to eat in their Buffet. The food was not good, plus very very limited options and extremely high prices. Everything was either cold or tasteless. There was one paneer sabzi which was okay, the one with eggplant and eggs, we were hesitant to take because it only had oil floating above. There were mini idlis and uttappas but just one peanut chutney with it and sambhar is not even worth mentioning. The place is so small and jammed with tables placed next to each other, there is barely any place to move. The cleaning lady was suffering to pick up plates with hand as there is not place for trolley, as a result she couldn’t help but drop a few napkins and plastic glasses here and there. Really really think 10 times before going to this place, because the price we paid was not at all worth for the food nor the service. May be the individual food orders can be good but refuse for the buffets. We paid $ 50 for two people. Trust me other places like Chennai Cafe, Malgudi Garden even Chowrastha have better quality and quantity when it comes to buffet and are cheaper than this place. Yet another let down in name of Indian food.
