I been coming to this location for 3 years now cause it was my favorite place! We would drive to Frisco biweekly and eat here for lunch every single time. We always got the same thing sweet and sour chicken and a random item from the menu so we can try. I now know that they changed owners based on other comments. So my guess was correct. I would like to officially state it was terrible. The batter they used was not tempura they didn't even use panko bread crumbs. Since I made this at home I know they didn't fry it in the right temperature since the breading was soggy, but crispy at the edges. The sweet and sour sauce was watered down and not at all enough for the dish. And the veggies weren't even cooked. THE ONION WAS RAW & COLD. This was actually place I learned you can cook onions where they are hot and slightly crunchy. Sad to see a place you been trying to make meals to match theirs fall so short. Also they reduced the portions which is fine cause I don't like eating a lot, but they increased the cost. They gave us a lunch size sweet and sour chicken that was once $7 post covid, but now after going it was $15. That's more than double for same amount. I have decided to locate a new lunch location. New owner I'm sorry must be hard owning the location now and having bad reviews. But its just not worth it anymore. I...
Read more07/12/2024 Update: The owner responded to my review below and said "We want to assure you that our restaurant is still under the same management"
However that is a lie. Public data shows that Meso Asia changed owners. Currently owned by De Vangrow LLC instead of the original Wang's Sichuan House LLC. You can easily find this by searching the names of those LLCs or Meso Asia on OpenCorporates.
It's fine if you're going to purchase a restaurant and change it. But don't lie to your "valued customers" about it being the same.
You know what's also worse? One of their other reviews mentions new management and the owner thanks that reviewer for trying the restaurant with new management. Used to be my favorite restaurant in the Frisco area for Chinese food. But after new management took over, it's been slowly turning into an Indian restaurant and the food hasn't been the same. I have nothing against Indian food, but if I order Chinese food from a Chinese restaurant, I am expecting Chinese flavors.
It's basically an Indian restaurant pretending to be a Chinese restaurant...
Read moreOrder #62790572 Tonight I ordered dinner from this place. We've been there several times and the food has been really good. Tonight they really screwed up......BIG TIME. I ordered online. The dish I ordered for my daughter was Hawaiian Fried Rice, sub the protein for tofu. My daughter has a shellfish allergy. When I got there to pick up there order I confirmed with them if they actually subbed out for tofu and they said no. They went back to remake the order. I got home and fed everyone. While we were eating we found pieces of shrimp in her food. They didn't remake it at all. They picked out the shrimp and added tofu, but they missed some of the shrimp. Now my daughter's face is completely swollen up. I'm writing this from the emergency room. Hopefully they won't have to intubate her. This company is going to be paying some medical bills. I addressed this with the manager on duty and he refunded us our entire meal, but now, because of their malpractice and fraud, I'm going to have a stack of medical bills a mile high that will need to be...
