Y'all. Stop whatever it is you're doing, and head over to The Aussie Grind in Frisco. I'm about to put you guys on! So, this place has such delicious food in big portions (even from the Lunch menu), and a really solid, quality variety of food selections, boozy drinks, etc. for any foodie. Going during the lunch rush hour wasn't hectic or too crowded, but there were definitely several people there to dine.
I ordered the Prawn Linguine with mushrooms and a side of crispy bacon. My friend got the Eggs Benny with Atlantic smoked salmon. They were really accommodating and conscientious about any food allergies or specific food preferences. I also hear the Banana Bread dessert is the real deal. We've got totally happy tummies, and at these really affordable, wallet friendly prices, I have absolutely zero complaints!
✨️ Also, the biggest shout-out to our server, Jordan, who is such a joy and delight. She was so friendly, made excellent recommendations, was attentive and caring, and has a fun personality. She really made the experience even better. 12/10 for service, truthfully, if I could. I don't know how she juggled so many tables at once, but every patron and table were well taken care of. She and the entire kitchen & FOH staff know what they're doing, and I just want to make sure they get the kudos they deserve.
Lastly, I want to mention that the atmosphere is cute, bright, open, airy but spacious, and reminds me of those neat restaurants in downtown Mckinney or Denton. Totally family friendly and can seat small or even slightly larger parties. Bench seats had pillows for extra comfort, too. Great lighting for pictures and selfies with people. Even the bathrooms were clean and really modern. The whole restaurant is a vibe.
I just can't rave enough about The Aussie Grind for their food, service, and staff. I'll be going back repeatedly and recommending this place to everyone I know.
PS: another shout-out and Honorable Mention to the couple at the table next to us. Thandi & William, bless y'all for paying for our meal randomly. Wherever you guys are, I hope you see this and know how inspiring & so kind you both are. Made my entire week. It is so cool to meet beautiful people like them here at the restaurant, and it just goes to show the type of patrons that dine at this establishment. Pay it...

I had Australian style food in Cali this year and have been searching a place like it in Texas! 🍒 THE VIBE: simple cafe with indoor and outdoor seating. You can order to go at the counter or full service sit down dining in. 🍒 PRICE: ~$18 🍒 WOULD I COME BACK? Yes. Only because the food was good. •••• Food Rating: 8/10 Service Rating: 4/10 I had quite an unexpected experience coming here a few weeks ago and this is why: I walk in, the girl greeted me not very welcomingly, clearly it was my first time I didn’t know that it was full service- I let it slide because it wasn’t a big deal. I sit down and look over the menu and promptly close the menu and get on my phone. A server fills my water without saying a single word and I said thank you and still doesn’t say anything. Alright that’s fine I’ll let that slide too. I put my elbows on the table, phone clearly up, I’m CLEARLY ready to order. To make it worse, I’m right in front of the ordering counter. SO MANY SERVERS WALKED PAST ME WITHOUT SAYING A SINGLE WORD. I clearly had one glass of water so I wasn’t waiting for someone but not a single person asked if I had been helped even though PLENTY of servers walked by when I clearly was ready to order. I went up to the counter again and asked them am I supposed to order at the counter or the table and they were surprised I haven’t been helped yet. Like how… this restaurant wasn’t even that busy or large and I’m sitting in the front! So the man who filled my glass and didn’t say a word and who was talking to the table 3 feet away from me turned out to be my server. He didn’t apologize at first but then apologized by comping my coffee which I appreciated. After this, I felt like everyone was trying to be overly nice to me which I wasn’t even mad anymore at this point but then it just made me feel extremely awkward. The only reason I would come back is because the food was very fresh and coffee was good. Maybe I’d try the other farmers branch location as well but yeah this was an extremely awkward...
