(New update: Second visit to the store, Waitress proactively bring us birthday music, passion of service, and some hot dance from tiktok for birthday gifts! The main manager Cathy and her team, did well with enthusiasm , accepted many of our opinions. Hope their service is as good as today always!) (Updated: Manage Kathy seems nice and professional refund me and very careful my family health condition, I will visit back the same store, if improve I will re- points ) Very disappointed and angry. I tried my best to calm my situation of here as more comprehensively and clear as possible . I always been a big fans of Haidilao, and I often introduce Haidilao as a significant Hotpot place to friends from different countries; but the experience of Label Day Vacation on here shocked me. Although the quality and service of each store in the chain cannot be the same , But people from China( which Haidilao founded in) and those who are familiar with Haidilao culture know that Haidilao has always operated with a Passionate and serious good service attitude and healthy and reliable ingredients. I have lived in Los Angeles for many years, and my experience at the Centry City Haidilao store has always given me the confidence to bring others to try Haidilao. However, my family and I drove hundreds of miles to this frisco store to review our previous good memory in Haidilao. It was unpleasant from the moment were we entered. We came in at night, and the store manager impatiently let us sit on a table with only one side. We asked to change seats (because we couldn’t fit our size) and the waiters were all lazy and uninspired. We can understand that because it’s late time, waiters tired from working all day, and the drink glasses we’re given are full of water stains, obviously not wiped clean, we asked for a replacement. One dish in the free snack area made us feel uncomfortable in our throats immediately; We don’t know if it’s because put too much msg or what, so we can only stop immediately and eat hot pot instead. Like usual in other Haidilao, we ordered a tomato soup base and a spicy soup base. At first we thought that at least there was no too big difference of food/ soup from other stores, so we didn’t pay attention. The spicy soup base became more spicy as we ate it. It became ridiculously spicy and unbearable the end; when we drove back to the hotel, my stomach started to hurt, and my family and I couldn't sleep all night, and all of us stomach couldn't digest the food at Haidilao tonight, and it was aching, and the next day My family and I had diarrhea in the morning, were dehydrated, and lack of energy. I was debating whether to call an ambulance, which directly affected our trip to Dallas for the next two days. Please contact me as soon as possible, the manager or owner of the frisco Haidilao store , if you see this feedback. My family and I never have an experience of Diarrhea or food poisoning incidents in any Haidilao Restaurant! Food health and safety is a very serious law, issue, topic in the United States. If you do not make quick adjustments and thorough investigations, we will communicate effectively with the local food department and safety department to report this case. Don’t let Haidilao lost a...

Read moreFamily of five for dinner on Saturday night. First time in we’ve had hot pot at half a dozen different places across the country. We got ourselves on the waitlist before we got there so we really didn’t have much wait even though their lobby was full of waiting patrons, that was nice. I’m glad they have the online waitlist.
This was one of the loudest restaurants I’ve eaten at in memory. They do lots of fun, tableside, shenanigans for birthdays, anniversaries, the noodle pulling, etc. so there’s nonstop commotion. I was very grateful that we got seated way back in a corner of the room that’s off to the right. Helps diminish the sensory overload being seated out of the hubbub. However, I wonder if our corner most seat isn’t why we had such hit and miss service.
Our waitress was very friendly and knowledgeable. She checked on us a couple times, but not as frequently as was necessary. The broths were all very good and they were delivered very quickly nearly immediately after ordering in fact. And the other menu items like meat and vegetables, started coming very promptly as well. Unfortunately, they brought us the wrong vegetable option. We ordered a trio of cabbages and they brought us two different lettuce with Napa. We pointed out this error, and it was never really corrected until some bok choy was brought near the end of our meal when we were already basically full.
Additionally our seafood platter that we ordered when we placed our order right at the start was not delivered until halfway through our meal or later. Same goes for the sake I ordered even though I asked for it a couple times with gentle reminders.
The sake was literally the worst drink I have ever had as well as being the worst sake I have ever had. It wasn’t the bottle that they had on the menu. It was so artificially flavored and over sweetened that it tasted like bad medicine. There were only two options on the menu. One was $13 for the bottle and the other was like $395 for the bottle which is absolute insanity for a restaurant like this. I wasn’t bothered by the price of the lower end option, just the terrible flavor. I didn’t drink it and our server comped it on our bill despite. Which was kind. It being free, I still did not drink it. Just yuck.
Although the food here was priced reasonably, it’s not a good deal so that’s a neutral...
