This is my very first review written for Starbucks and it is unfortunate that it is NOT due to a great experience.... New employee (Meeko) on the register. She is very poised, very welcoming presentation. She asked for help because I had a "not a regular coffee drinker" question...first team member ignored her (Eric), second team member began punching keys to adjust my order WITHOUT clarifying what I wanted, nor did she walk the newbee through the change made....
THE STRAW that broke the camel's back during this visit is such: "second team member" (wish I got her name) while filling other customers' orders, she begins yelling out all my errors of how I ordered!!!!!....(in her best professional, flustered, sarcastic voice)...FORGIVE ME!....I don't use "grande", "machiato" nor "barista" on a regular basis!!! THEN....I call back to speak with management, "Eric" tells me, "ma'am we are really busy right now." Wow!! Lol!!!! McDonald's even sees through a complaint!!!
What An embarrassing, humiliating waste of time and money experience!! The frustration is simple...I too work, I too deal with the public, during the "rush hour" and steady flow of the day, but it's my responsibility and personal duty to meet the needs of those who keep me in business...CUSTOMER SERVICE IS EVERYTHING!

Read moreToday I witnessed true customer service in action, which this barista/shift always goes above and beyond for the customers at this location.. Shawna, one of the Shift Supervisors was trying to help this gentleman that was very frustrated with the app., and 10 or so drinks going to another store. She gave him several options, at first he said no to all, but then he said I would love your help. If you could go ahead and make those drinks that went to the wrong store I will be back in about 30-45 minutes. Shawna, always willing to help, tells him sure not to worry we will have them ready.
My friend and I happened to still be there when he arrived, and the pure delight on his face said it all! He saw Shawna walk out from the back, and asked her for her business card, and she laughed and told him she didn’t have one, as of yet. He told her sincerely thank you, you have saved the today! She told him, that’s what we are here to do! She didn’t take the credit, she said we, as in a team! She is just remarkable! No matter what, I know I can count on her, to brighten my day, even if it is just with her beautiful smile! I can’t say that about everyone there, unfortunately. Read moreI have hesitated to write a review about this, but this has continued on for too long, it’s just too much to stay quiet. On multiple occasions, this place has failed to make my orders properly. I honestly don’t know why, but I’ve never had issues with other places as I do at this place. Across various beverages I’ve ordered, so many come out wrong. What I’m so confused about is isn’t there a recipe they should be following for every single drink? This has happened all too often. I’ve stayed quiet many times losing money. In other occasions I’ve gone back or called about the issue. And despite their response being, “when you come back next time let us know and we’ll replace it for free”… they don’t always keep their word. Listen, these drinks are not cheap AT ALL. And to let so many slide without a refund or replacement, it’s gotten out of control. I just want my Starbucks drinks, that’s all. I don’t have all the time in the world to make u-turns to talk to someone yet again about a bad order. I feel awful when this happens, makes me feel horrible. Drinks have been way too watery, with no flavor, or just plain yucky. I honestly don’t get it. What could possibly be causing this many drinks to be made this bad?
