Have been visiting this place for a while and pleasantly surprised with the immediate upgrade on quality of the food and friendly service. It appears that the management changed starting Jul 12th (was told by the waiter when we checked what changed suddenly). Tried Salmon/ Pesto Chicken for the main course and nothing to beat the quality in DFW area. Those were aptly cooked and had nice aroma even on the sauteed vegetables came along with it. Kids were trying appetizers and we did dig-in...those were perfectly cooked and served with lot of care with the condiments. Mac and cheese definitely needs a mention as my 4th grader loved it and she was complimenting the Chef too for that nice work. Interesting part was, the Chef was flexible to make most of the dishes vegetarian friendly, which is going to be great asset as I have too many vegetarian friends. Pleasant surprise at the end was the greetings from the manager and the actual owners themselves thanking us for trying out. Definitely worth a try with the management change. Trying out this weekend too as they are bringing in an experienced person to the bar section. Excited for sure with the last experience. Good luck new management to make it big and I assure you that all my personal gatherings and my corporate gatherings will be in your restaurant. Thanks for the...

This is the first negative review I've ever posted. My husband and I went to The Community Grill, in Frisco for the first time last Saturday. There were only 2 other tables besides us so it wasn't very busy. We ordered our drinks and our waitress was asked 3 different times for Sweet N Low which she never did bring. My husband had the Sliced BBQ sandwich, the bun was warm but the meat inside was cold. I had the Cobb Salad that was actually pretty good. We were both out of our drinks for at least ten minutes so I decided to walk up to the counter and ask for refills, and the Sweet N Low. There was also another person that walked up behind me for refills as well. Our waitress had disappeared for a very long time so I tried to ask for help from a man that might have been the owner. Unfortunately, he was too busy standing there watching someone taking pictures of the food that was being prepared. The sad thing was, both of us were looked at several times but no one would help us for at least 5 minutes. Sadly, there was another large group at a table and they were being helped by what appeared to be possibly another owner or GM. As for husband, myself, and this other gentleman and his family that were dining we all were...

First and last time to eat here. The service was friendly and the restaurant was clean. The food was dismal. Don’t expect any fresh food. We had very salty Fried pickles, wings, caprese salad, kids spaghetti and meatball, it’s completely pre packaged freezer to microwave to table. The single meatball was hard as a rock . Have you ever microwaved a meatball too long? This was it. We were actually entertained by the fact anyone would serve it and think it was ok. Location is convenient, place is aesthetically pleasing and comfortable. Potential exists if they’d stop with the really really bad food and replace with fresh food. We felt so bad for our server having to serve this god awful food that we tipped her 50%. Maybe they’re cutting costs on food to prevent going out of business ? Food is inedible. No way the proprietor could possibly eat this food or think it’s good. They need desperately to try the food at 11/17 in McKinney. If they copy their food then they’re likely to succeed. A shame when all else is there but the food is quite frankly disgusting. Until they make changes to the food there’s no reason to go there. Hope they can get it together. We love supporting...

Food is mediocre but probably what I expected from bar food. Margarita was very good and a much healthier version than most. Stark, bare decor (see photo). Extremely loud environment due to lack of fabric anywhere in the restaurant so a lot of echoing noise which makes it hard to have a conversation. All it takes is one baby crying to really ruin your lunch. Owners need to address the sound problems with drop down ceiling panels, spray insulation or some type of fabric to absorb the echo. Should probably hire professional decorators to spruce up the place and make it less bar-like and more like a community cafe. I had the prosciutto cheese sandwich and it was ok but hate that we had to ask for everything like ketchup to go with the fries. And syrup and butter to go with our pancakes. These things should be automatically brought with the food and customers shouldn’t have to ask for every single thing. I’ve been here twice: my first time and my last time.

My partner and our mothers came here for Mother’s Day and this immediately became one of my newest, favorite restaurants! The food was SO GOOD! I’ve never had a pesto chicken sandwich like they make with the amazing bread they have! Also, you MUST try the amazing Chicken Enchilada Dip as an appetizer!!! Aside from the food though is something better!!! It’s the AMazing, authentic service and friendships you create with the staff while here. The manager Chris (female) and Bre, were the BEST parts of our experience! They made us feel like they just welcomed us into their own kitchen and cooked us a home-cooked meal! I’m sad they don’t have many locations, so you must check this place out while in Frisco; you most definitely will not be disappointed. Tell Chris and Bre that Aiden-Michael and Dakota said “hi!”

I was very excited to try this new restaurant, as it is so close to our house. I have to say, We were not impressed. The decor is very inviting, and our server was friendly, but the food was a major let down. The mac and cheese sounded so yummy, but it was way too salty from too much prosciutto. My youngest could not even eat it. I had the pork chops. They looked delicious but were extremely over cooked and lacked flavor. My husband didn't think much of the the spaghetti and meatballs, either. My other two boys did enjoy the burger and chicken pesto sandwich. I do think the price point is a bit high for the type of food we were served. We do hope it improves after they work out some of the kinks.
