Tropical Smoothie Cafe — Restaurant in Frisco

I had the horrible experience last night and i wanted to share my thoughts on the events that took place. I'm usually not the one t rant or write nasty things online but honestly if i could give negative stars I would. Only because this specific store managed to never want to make me come back with out even talking to me. I try to be super understanding when it comes to the food industry because i get it it sucks and get get extremely busy especially in an area like Frisco. I worked at the Pei Wei down the on Main and boy do i understand BUSY. But what really ticked me off was that after a log day of work, doctors visits and personal concerns I really wanted a Detox drink from TSC because its my favorite. I knew it was late and I didn't want to be one of those people ( goes in right before close) but i just really needed it. So there I am with my one year old on my hip running in real quick to get a bite but when we got to the door it was locked. Keep in mind the open sign was on but it was obvious they weren't going to open the door. They wouldn't even look at me. No manager in sight just High school kids that most likely wanted to be anywhere but there. I could have made a scene but after a long day the last thing I wanted to do was stress. It was only 8:550 and it was clear that they are open till 9. All i wanted was some more respect and to at least be acknowledged that i was there standing outside. I was also not the only one there wondering why they closed early. TSC may have not lost me as a customer but that the TSC on Eldorado in Frisco has lost...

Update: I have to say I despise business owners who cut cost at the expense of an employee. I have come here 3 days this week and there is ONE person there at 7am running around so frazzled because the phone is ringing, people are walking in and the blenders need to be blending. I’m disappointed in the owner of this location that you would think a measly $8-$10 is actually saving you something in the long run. Well it’s not, it’s making customers like me NOT want to support you. This location is give or take. They can be extremely under staffed and decide to not answer for phone call orders, they don’t honor any military or government discounts or they can be fully staffed and great. Personally the Preston location in Plano is the best I have ever been to. This location has a lot to work on and it’s disappointing, because in the morning I’m trying to get in and out, not sit here for...

I stopped into the Frisco location and was amazed at how this High School girl ran the store this past weekend. She greeted me with a big smile & eye contact. (Hard to come by these days). She was very knowledgeable of everything in the store. Made me a very delicious smoothie just like I requested and genuinely thanked me for coming in. We chatted a bit and I asked her name. My name is Chloe she said. I told her I had not had a quick service dining experience in almost 6 months as wonderful as she made me feel that day. Great customer service, very professional and extremely nice young girl. I can definitely see her and this location doing well and going far in life.
