First time in the restaurant for many years. It used to be a great place to get Italian food. Boy has that changed. All I got was House Salad and a cup of the Greek Spinach soup. First of all, the soup was terrible, with the appearance of green mud. I tasted it on the tip of the spoon and it tasted almost soured with a gritty texture. I tried another taste, thinking I could eat it, I could not, none of it was appealing. I told the waitress that I could not eat it because it did not taste good and it was not appealing even to look at and asked if it could be taken off my bill. All I did was taste it, not eat even a full spoonful. I asked if I could get a cup of one of the other soups. She took the Greek Spinach cup with her and came back about 10 minutes later with the response ‘the manager said if you get another soup you will be charged for both.’ I told her to forget it. So I had a house salad to eat, which was nothing more than a plate of greens, nothing else, with house dressing on i, a vinaigrette. And there was so much dressing on it that the greens were literally swimming in it. Not edible either, but to say I had something to eat I ate a few bites of the greens, the rest was a soggy mess. 2 Friends got Hot Antipasto plate as their dinner and one was served the same but she had ordered a different Antipasto which she didn’t get. The Hot Antipasto was to have shrimp on it, but did not. After they mentioned it to the waitress, she could not confer and left to check with the manager on it, came back to tell them yes, they were right. She left again and returned about 20 minutes later to say “they’re still working on your shrimp, it is frozen”. What, Not even fresh shrimp. So after about a half hour and a great amount of their food eaten already, the waitress returned with a tray of 3 ramikins and gave each of my friends one, with 2 peeled shrimp, no kidding!! Not customer friendly, food was not good for the price. Will...
Read moreWe hired Mark to cater our daughter's wedding. He did an amazing job! We decided to go with him after eating at his restaurant and with recommendations from friends. Mark (the owner) is a chef. We were very concerned about price because of the size of the guest list (250+). He asked us our budget and he worked within it and stuck with it. This past year (2022) inflation and food prices sky rocketed so I was nervous but he stayed at the price that he quoted in fall 2021. He works within your budget. He is old school. Not big on text, internet, etc. but he is a man of his word and handshake. Our guests had compliment after compliment for his food and people are still talking about how great it was.
We wanted self serve and not plated. Because it was a big wedding he suggested stations. He said it got people to the food faster. He set up 4 stations of our choosing (with his help). The stations were American , Italian, Mediterranean, and Farm Fresh . They provided something for everyone, meat, meatless, gluten free, nut free, etc. you name it he had it covered.
He also provided an appetizer table and beverage service, he set up, cleaned up, and his service was exceptional. You never really noticed him or his help but the stations were constantly refreshed and finished place settings were discarded. It was perfect! Wonderful service, food, prices and person! Giuseppe's and (Mark ; )...
Read moreI’ll begin by saying 1 star is very generous. Tonight I had probably the worst dining experience of my life. We had a 6 pm reservation. The last person in our party got their food at almost 8 pm after others in the party had been finished their meal for over 45 minutes. The worst part was how the owner, Mark Witt, spoke to paying customers. After questioning why 8 people had gotten and finished their salads and 3 still hadn’t gotten theirs after waiting over 30 minutes after the rest were served, he told us we were the problem by calling him out of the kitchen and this was only delaying our food more. He later came back and blamed his 17 year old employee who had only worked for him for 3 days and was manning the oven (the same oven that we were told couldn’t do pizzas tonight) for why one of the salads took 2 hours to come out. He pointed his finger in my mother’s face and raised his voice and was the most unprofessional man I have ever come in contact with. When our food came we asked for a box and the bill, we paid the full bill with absolutely zero compensation, and left and went to chicfila. We later found out the rest of our table who stayed received multiple $20 gift cards.
I am still in awe at how this man is still in business. Please save yourself the trouble and eat somewhere that your buisness is appreciated because it certainly...
