Shogun — Restaurant in Frostburg

Maybe it was just an off night, but this was the worst hibachi I’ve ever had. The meat was overcooked, with the chicken having a chewy texture and no flavor. The rice and noodles were slimy, bland, and the “fried” rice wasn’t actually fried. The vegetables tasted like they’d been overly steamed and were covered in a slimy unappealing sauce. The salad had a strange-tasting dressing, and they don’t offer ginger sauce. The soup was okay but had odd bits in it that I couldn’t identify.

The service was good, and the shrimp tempura was decent. They don’t cook in front of you like a traditional hibachi experience, and the restaurant itself has more of a hole-in-the-wall feel. Unfortunately, I wouldn’t return for...

I was actually really suprised! It was a really good experience! The good was good, minus the hibachi having too much sauce. But that's probably just a personal preference for me, I can't hold that against them. The yum yum sauce was really good. I got a sushi roll, the rock shrimp, and the hibachi chicken and shrimp. It was my birthday, so the waitress made a wonderful dessert with candles and everything for me, and was super sweet. Didn't hover, but easy to get her attention. So make sure you tip them well! I'll definitely be going back! Hope all my experiences continue to go this smoothly. Happy...

I don't normally review, but felt I should since the other reviews before me all have pictures from their menu/website and gave generic 5 stars, along with being new accounts and making the review in the same day... 🤔

I made a pickup order online and got three rolls along with some calamari.

The three rolls I got were ok for the area but they got my order wrong. My yellowtail roll should have had green onion and they forgot my soup...

I assume the calamari is precooked/frozen since it isn't using actual tempura batter and look like onion rings.

Overall, the price is good but...
